Why do all the "High profit" videos fail to add time to the cost to produce? In my shop with Build time, finishing, packaging / shipping add 2 hrs @ $75/hrs.
Build cost $22 + $150 = $172. Sell at $185 - $172 = $13 profit. That doesn't take into account utilities. If your time is free, there is profit.
I’ve addressed this in previous videos , it took me 10 min to build this thing . And that was with filming , so yeah , that’s why i didn’t mention the time and cost and so on for this particular project , not sure if you were looking for a gotcha moment but I’ll take the feedback as is and appreciate your feedback . If you happen to see a high profit project from this channel ya better believe it’s a profitable project .
@Bearded-Viking-WoodWorks wasn't looking for a gotcha. Not taking time into account is all over the place, not just here. I'd suggest mentioning it, or referring to the video you discuss it in, as a reality check for those interested.

Thank you. I use my heat gun to remove the stickers. It leaves LESS residue, but it's easier to clean up with the sander than pulling off the sticker and doesn't jam my sandpaper.

Great job. I need to try to make me a sled so i can cut dados easier on the table saw. I would like to see the jig for cutting the tapers ypu were talking about though. Poor and less knowledgeable people like me really need to see and learn how to make these jigs...... Keep up the great work brother.. maybe we should have a video on common jigs and sleds

A few seconds with a heat gun, and those stickers will peel off easy and clean with no residue.

You could tape the taper cutoffs back onto your piece, and then you don't need to adjust the angle to cut the dados.

Awesome as always! I think I may need to make one of those for myself... What would you add for stain, paint, or a finish before you sell it? Or leave it up to the customer?
I leave it as options when they buy it , so I did a simple poly on mine and cost wasn’t much as far as my cost , but I added 25$ to price
Daniel, G'day from Australia. When you say peice of 1x 4 or 2x6 are they the actual size of the timber or are they smaller? I have noticed down under that I can't buy 1x4s or 2x4s etc. They are roughly 3/4" x 31/2" (or 38mmx89mm) etc. Being the age I am I use both imperial and metric. Also in other of your videos when glueing but joints I have seen you use a spray after aplying the glue. What is the spray and what is it used for? Love the channel.😊

How bad did Etsy bite your ass for fees?
Good question , the typical 3% sales fee plus publishing fee of 20¢ . Nothing crazy I think it came out to like 6$ or something
