I don't ever remember Michael being this directionally challenged back in the day, especially since in episode 2 or 3 he mentions being good at remembering game maps but not real life locations. It's a little annoying and nostalgic simultaneously.

From their excuse, it's because I'm one of the very few people they knew whose full name was a total of 2 syllables, as compared to many others whose first names were often 2 or 3 syllables at the least. I called bs every time, but the fact that my full name together also sounds like an actual name did make me laugh a couple of times.
