Orthogonal means 90degs too. Usually it is off the dimension, so 90degs off a 2d plane. But that isnt necessary to suffice it’s meaning
14:50 Michael was STILL wrong. If he'd swapped his 2 cards, he would have walked onto the turn, which means he doesn't get turned afterwards. Then he turns to look forwards on the conveyor. He'd end up next to the checkpoint, not on the battery.

Also, I love Rule Master Michael. "I only need to move one space to win! Power-up." The drama and skill shown today are spectacular. :D
To be honest, I was shocked by Michael’s appearance in this video. The hat and sunglasses he’s wearing made him look like a completely different person.😊

It wouldn't be Robo Rally without accidentally doing a turn wrong and realizing it later and undoing the last 3 turns to do it correctly.

it happens again at 56:50, but no one notices that jo miss ANOTHER CARD
I just assumed it was because he activated his Temporary Upgrade card to move forward five spaces (or something like that), and probably forgot to do his actual program card.
By sheer coincidence I learned about this gam on Tv Tropes earlier today

What edition is this, I do t think it’s 2nd edition, it looks too new to be first edition though, did they release a 3rd edition?
This is the just-released 5th Edition from Renegade Game Studios.
RoboRally: A History...
1994 1st Edition (Wizards of the Coast, with the two-part metal robots).
1995 2nd Edition (WotC, with the solid metal robots, and all the expansions: Armed & Dangerous, Grand Prix, Crash 'n Burn, and Radioactive).
2005 3rd Edition (Avalon Hill, where they introduced the start board, 3D checkpoints, and the sand timer).
2010 3.01 Edition (Avalon Hill, where the only change is the Avalon Hill logo on the box cover).
2016 4th Edition (Avalon Hill, where they introduced the individual programming decks, overhauled the damage system, and changed the name from RoboRally to Robo Rally).
2023 5th Edition (Renegade, probably the best of the bunch so far, with multiple expansions already planned, the first two of which are releasing later this month).
2024 6th? Edition (Renegade, Transformers themed).
I'm not related to the company, just a super fan. I own every released edition except 3rd and 3.01.
