I first began uploading in 2022. I mostly teach songs and licks with a slight twist. I'm trying to improve everyday. I have not played guitar my entire life. I learned at a young age, but didn't start taking guitar seriously until I reached my 30's. I have found that embarrassing myself with these videos holds me accountable. It allows me to hear the things in my playing that still need work. I enjoy being creative and helping other people by sharing the things I have learned. Mac Miller "Self-Care" Guitar Arrangement Lesson 🎸
In this guitar lesson I'm going to show you how to play one of my favorite Mac Miller songs "Self-Care." I've always felt Mac Miller was a kindred spirit since I first discovered his music in 2021. The dude just speaks to me. There aren't a lot of chords to this song (9) but it's a great way to work on dialing in different tones with your pedals. The tone throughout is what really gives this song it's vibe. It might be a keyboard or synthesizer or it could just be a guitar. Not sure. I had a lot of fun trying to get this tone.
