Triad Lick In G with Extra Cheese - Guitar Lick Lesson

Here is a cool little triad trick lick that you can use to walk your guitar solos up the neck. Each triad puts you in a different pentatonic position to solo out of. If you want a more in depth look on soloing with triads you should check out my "Pentatonic Triad Scale" lesson in the link below. The lick in this lesson is in the key of G. We will begin by outlining and ascending 7 triads to move up the neck with. The end of this lick is capped off with some country style bends and some rakey sweeps. There are several useful guitar licks in here that can help add some different colors and phrasing into your guitar solos. They will work in all styles from blues to metal.
