ILLINOIS MOVING DAY with Sharon!
Does Packing and moving make you cringe? Us too! The move from Illinois to Missouri is just around the corner! Packing and moving is very stressful, we have done it many times before and with a large family. We typically did it ourself, but this time we threw in the white flag and are eliciting the help from a locally operated moving company "The Movers" to help us with some of this large homestead. They will be helping with the house while Joe and I tackle the garage and barn in the near future. Today is the final segment of this move on the Illinois side, so after 4 days we will be half way done with the move to Missouri!
Curious about the new Missouri homestead? We are capturing that adventure also on this channel!
This is a beautiful country lifestyle, at least in my opinion, and it is a real treat experiencing things one day at a time along the way of this crazy new life journey for Sharon and I! If you are new to the channel here are a few recent video links that I think you'll enjoy from our recent life move over to Southern Missouri:

Was this Divine Intervention? While many may not believe, I do keep the faith when it comes to living this life and putting certain priorities above others. Join me for today's episode #1 of our new life, land and Ozarks Missouri adventures! Recently we bought a 575 acre Southern Missouri farm in the Ozarks and today will be our first moving trip, our first road trip after legally owning the new 575 acre Missouri farm, and all of the adventures that go along with it. Join us for today's episode as I begin our moving process from Southern Illinois over to Southern Missouri. Today I'll tackle some of the challenges associated with equipment hauling over such a long distance. In this episode I'll be hauling my KIOTI RX7320 powershuttle cab tractor, my home made chisel disc plow and some other equipment on my equipment trailer. Oh, and I almost had a near disasterous collision in the St. Louis area as a car literally broke down only a few cars ahead of me, so while cruising at 65 mph there was a completely stopped car right in front of me and I had nowhere to go in either lane, left or right of me, so I locked up all of the brakes on my Ford F250 and the equipment trailer, and fortunately I don't tailgate so I had enough room to get my truck and equipment trailer stopped just in the nick of time! Also today I'll give you an up close and realtime view of the dead end gravel road that our new 575 acre Missouri farm sits on, and then a look at our OVER a mile long private gravel driveway as well. This is a very exciting episode and we thank you for joining us! If you enjoyed today's video episode please hit the like button and consider subscribing to join us for all of our new life and land adventures from our new land in the Ozarks of Missouri! Thanks for joining us today and we hope you'll consider joining us on our new Missouri homestead and land purchase and all of our future land adventures, land investment adventures and projects, and all of our new Missouri home rehab projects and much more! Oh and by the way if you are interested in making a Missouri land investment and being our neighbors (literally) on a dead end road, and then a dead end, private, gated road enjoying a stunning place to hunt, or build your dream home or a deep woods retreat then you can contact us at Kapper@kapperoutdoors.com
Thank you, we hope to catch you on our next video adventure! #kapperoutdoors #kapperoutdoors2 #kapperoutdoorsMissouri #missouriland #missourihuntingland

    We cleaned our house in Florida but the clowns in Missouri had no idea on how to clean anything. You should have seen the toilets, I didn't think I could have sat on one, they were pretty nasty. Next day we went to Lowe's and bought 3 new ones and I wanted them to be taller with the quiet shutting lids. We had a plumber come in and change them out and new water heater and water softener installed because of the hard water. Later on I hired a company to install new gutters and guards. We had a new pump put in for the house. Later on new windows installed and this summer the new polymer siding which has thick styrofoam behind it. But the front of the house has a 45 foot porch which we both love.

    Illinois is the democrats testing grounds for anti 2A legislation. I totally understand why you had to move. Instead of fixing intercity problems let’s take the rights away from normal law abiding citizens. You shouldn’t have to tell them what you own cause they’re never gonna tell you what they have. Y’all are tough people and y’all get through this and come out on the sunny side.

    Yeah that DEF is going to work great. Each gallon contains about 1.36 lbs of nitrogen so if you spray all 8 jugs you may have put out 15 lbs of nitrogen on 14 acres. Plus beans fix their own nitrogen so there’s that. Lol

  • @WhiskeyKing813
    @WhiskeyKing813 Před dnem

    MFA will rent you a fertilizer buggy for free when you buy your fertilizer from them. As previously stated beans dont need nitrogen, they are a legume. Make sure you are using a surfactant with your spray. Be sure to clean the crap out of that quad or the nitrogen will rust it immediately.

    Don't need nitrogen on soybeens. They are a legume that makes its own nitrogen. They need potassium and phosphorous. The nitrogen you add will feed future weeds .go to MBA or local coop and they have carts to pull with yo tractor and they will customize for your particular crop.soil test would be beneficial.

    One year ago we moved from Northern Illinois to southern Missouri , I built a house here by myself for the most part and its almost completed. We are doing the off grid homestead on 25 acres.... Good Luck

      Wow, sounds like a big undertaking! But great on you for doing it and making the move! MO is a much free-er state for sure!! Thanks

    I moved about ten times when I was in the Army. I learned to sit on boxes shaped like chairs….. ;-)

    We were quoted $3k to move just a king-size bed, 2 couches, 2 coffee tables, 4 end tables, 4 counter height chairs, and a kitchen table with 6 chairs. I was hoping to save a trip and have help to move the things I couldn't move on my own. I couldn't imagine what it would cost to have them pack up the whole house. Instead, I moved everything to Missouri with my cargo trailer and car hauler. It was a lot of work. It took me a total of 14 trips back and forth.

      Man you ain't kidding! Stay tuned for the move series, but the total was almost 13k! But it was a 5 day process all told and they worked very hard and very fast! I'm probably on like trip number 10 so far and I have a lot more stuff to haul back over! But you do what you have to do in life!
