- July 4th and a fresh blackberry harvest with Sharon! Join Farmgirl Sharon as she puts her snake chaps on (Yes, we have rattlesnakes, copperheads and possibly Cottonmouths!) and explores the overgrown garden area for the first time on our new 575 acre Kapper Outdoors Missouri farm. Well, she was pleasantly surprised with the bountiful harvest of beautiful wild (albeit thornless) blackberries! Join her for some garden harvest, fresh air, the sights and sounds of the deep woods of Southern Missouri in the Ozarks and a little relaxtion time picking berries! Thanks for joining us today and if you are new to our channel we'd love to have you join our growing CZcams family here as we chronical our entire new land and life adventures from our new 575 acre Missouri farm in the Ozarks! We are currently in the process of moving and selling our Southern Illinois farm, and we will be documenting all of the adventures, the knock downs, success and failures along the way! Oh and there is sure to be many new life learning experiences as well! Thank you! Here are a few of our recent videos from our new Missouri farm:

I used to run around on my 400-acre farm in shoes so I could move quicker and easier. I've had too many close calls with the snakes. So I got some nice boots and slowed down. You have a great place out there.
I found my steel toed work boots later that night, I forgot I brought them 😂
That's a good first harvest of blackberries!
Black berry clobber and vanilla ice cream . So so good.
I think you mean cobbler! LOL, but oh yes totally delish!! Thank you have a good evening

I'll save some for next year!
Beautiful garden Sharon!!!! Wish you all the best in your new home.

Thank you so much. It's like a rehab home. I see potential!

Yep looking forward to some yummy desserts here too!!
I bet you have lots of sweet memories! Thanks for sharing!
I did have some growing out from the building but I had some not wanted trees growing too! The trees weren't anything good and had vines growing up in them. It was hard taken them out because it's on a steep hill and rocky. So after I cut all of them I wrapped a long strap around them and added 2 20 chains to the tractor bucket and pulled them out and once I thought it was far enough, I put my forks on and hauled down to the burn area which I probably will never burn.
😃 you weren't messing around there! I'll definitely need to prune and train them.
Those sticks will make you jump all the time, lol
😂 it really did scare the crap out of me!
Black Berry pie?
Heck ya! Yum!
We put our blackberries through a machine a that filters out the seeds, but leaves all the wonderful meat and pulp in there.
It makes eating the jam so much better! No seeds in the teeth!! We will be making jam on our channel in a few weeks and showing the process. You may like to see it if you don’t already do that. We will never make it with seeds again!!
Would love to see how it's done! I'll keep my eyes open for it! ❤
@@CedarBluffRustics it’ll be a couple of weeks and we’ll have it up. It sure makes some great tasting jam!
@@CedarBluffRustics you will really love it without the seeds!!
@@CedarBluffRustics just subscribed to your channel! I love rustic and folk art!

Hey, that's a nice bunch of berries--ENJOY!! The critters got most of my blackberries this year...with the biggest critters being DEER--(DARN THINGS). Mine are all thornless varieties: Prime Ark Freedom, Ponca, Osage, Arapaho, and Ouachita. May try to get one more variety called Sweetie Pie. Its supposed to be really sweet tasting?
Wow, I didn't know there were so many varieties! Wish i knew what these were. I plan on adding red, yellow, and black raspberries and strawberries in the future 😊
Did you say Smakes???🫢🫢
lol no sNakes!! :0
