In Jamaica, where I'm from, we have ackee as mentioned but also Cherimoya=custard apple, jackfruit, sapodilla=naseberry, soursop, starapple, ugli fruit, carambola=starfruit, Maracuya=passion fruit . Would love to try others that were presented. Nice video.
Makes one want to travel the world on a fruit spree 🎉
Trust me, you're not missing much. I've tried a lot of them shown on the video, not many are good.
While it's interesting to try, the taste isn't there and that explains why they weren't cultivated more around the world.
Bạn chỉ cần đến Việt Nam 😂
I want to be bathed in delicious fruit every day, then my body will become more attractive to all men in the world.
You can find most of these fruits easily in Indonesia, they are mostly tropical fruits. Salak is kind tangy when unripe but almost all of them taste sweet when ripe, truly delicious.
Here in Denver, we have a market that has foods from several countries. I went and saw so many foreign foods, all I could do was just look. The seafood was fresh/alive as well as frozen in smaller quantities.
I was hoping to see food here so I could go back and try some things. Only a handful were featured here.
Exotic fruits are my favorites. So rich and complex flavors. Taste like heaven.
Durian is not just my favourite fruit but my favourite food ! Heaven.
Living in Indonesia, I'm glad that some fruits in this list aren't rare for us.
We can found Mangosteen, Dragon Fruit, Salac (Snakefruit), Durian, Rambutan, Jackfruit, Sapodilla, Soursop, Starfruit, and Passion Fruit in the market, especially when it was harvest season.
Don't forget the Star Apple, in Java we call it Genitu/Kenitu.
Wow, that's amazing!
You're really fortunate to have such a diverse range of exotic fruits readily available in Indonesia. It's a luxury that many other countries and regions don't enjoy.
The richness and variety of your local fruit markets must be incredible, especially during harvest season.
Well most of the most special & delicious fruits are in Asia.
We Asian people are special
as always! 🙂
You are very fortunate. I would love to try all of them.
Those grow well here in South Florida as well. I grow my own Dragonfruit, passionfruit, citrus, grapes, bananas, fig, Jamaican strawberry tree, Barbados Cherry tree, I had a starfruit tree but gave it to my neighbor when it was still young. There are people down here that grow everything from from Soursop to mangosteen too. Avacado and mangoes are common.
I grew up in California, we had a Pineapple Guava tree. I remember the taste some 70 years later! We were lucky.
What's your weather zone i want try to grow in Canada zone 5
Really popular in NZ
@scythian404 you're gonna need to grow it indoors or in a greenhouse for sure
I grew up in Los Angeles and there was one of those trees down the street. My friends and I , when we were kids, used to eat that fruit from the tree, but we never knew the name of it. It was good tasting.

We can easily find magosteen, dragon fruit, Durian, rambutan, jackfruit, Sapodila, Soursop, Tamarillo, cherimoya, lucuma, starfruit, passion fruit
The taste of Passion fruit is so divine, I make it a juice with water and sugar, the seeds can be eaten and has a nutty flavor within the made drink/refreshment.
Or the seeds taste great frozen with sugar added!
Hi
I have eaten at least 15 of the fruits you have mention in this video. As born and Lived in Ceylon which is now called state of Sri Lanka, I have been a fruit lover all my life, so are my children who have passed the fruit palate down to their children.

Thank you again for the video.

@@somebunnyslovesorry for the typo, Calamansi!!!
@@kathybrinson283 Calamansi is a small citrus fruit the size of a kumquat. Native to PI, they have a taste easily described as a cross between a key lime and mandarin orange.
Guyabano is my jam I'm going to start growing those trees
The voice over is really great and the description of the fruits.
I'm glad you enjoyed the voiceover and the fruit descriptions in my video! I appreciate your feedback and hope you continue to find the content engaging and informative.
Thanks for watching!
In Mexico I had my first taste of the soursop, but they called it Guanabana. The most delicious fruit ever, tasting like candy! Also, the skin must almost rot before you can digg in for this wonderful sweetness. I find the inside most fascinating with the pure white lobs and many black pits. To me it looks like a sea anemone.
In the Philippines, it is called Guyabano. Very nutritious.
Fantastic video! The narrators voice is very pleasant to listen to. Wish I could try most of these fruits. Very interesting!

We have large amount of Feijoa in Georgia (country). You can prepare so many things with it and it so good for your health. Super delicious. Super healthy
I love Dragon Fruit (Pitaya), Mangosteen , Rambutan and Granadilla!
The star apple reminded me of my childhood in the Philippines. They're very sweet, especially when eating ripe in the summer months from early February to early May.
Star apple, ackee, jackfruit are all treats from my youth growing up in Jamaica
@@frankjames6048 cool. How do u call Star Apple over in Jamaica? We call it Star Apple or caimito in the Philippines. I remember we would eat them off of the tree and had to navigate past the sap before we could enjoy the delicious meat. Sometimes we freeze them before eating them.
We would wash the seeds and use them to mark the numbers on bingo cards.
@@user-yw4bs4lk9k We call it t.,he same. Growing on the island, it was a treat
It was very pleasant to watch and dream of sampling the exotic fruits. My favorite are feijoa and white sapote. Thank you for this fruit trip into the tropics.

I have had Mangosteen in Cali Colombia several times. It is so good I always look for it. My wife is from Colombia and I have tries many different fruits there. The other think I like VERY much is Nadii (Spanish), not sure of the spelling also known as Açaí palm (in Portuguese). I grow local fruit in Michigan but also coffee, passion fruit and lemons (inside in the winter).

Appreciate this presentation. Fruits are the Supreme One's gift to humans.
Glad they evolved to be what they are!

South America and Asia has a bounty of unusual, but, tasty fruit 🍓🍑🍑🍑. Thank you for the video ❤❤❤
I must have seeds to all of these fruits😊thank you so much for the amazing share ❤!
The sour sop looks like a bigger prickly pear which I love.
Almost everyone has a couple of feijoa bushes in New Zealand. Very popular in smoothies, jams, on it's own, or in hot apple-feijoa crumble, with custard.
Absolutely wonderful 😂❤ love 👋 ❤ it
Thanks so much 🙏
Sirus London
We have most of that fruits in the Philippines.😊
I've found a lot of these fruits in the Singaporean market, mangosteen, dragonfruit, durian, rambutan, baby jackfruit, jackfruit, soursop, yuzu, starfruit, passion fruit, and custard apple(cherimoya) are the ones in the video.
(I just realised that the queen of fruits(mangosteen) is my favourite fruit while the king of fruits(durian) is probably one of my least favourites.)
sapodila is SAWO in Indonesia . salak, mangosteen , jack fruit, rambutan, durian, dragon fruit, sour soft =sirsak , lukuma=terong belanda , carambola(starfruit) or belimbing , maracuya (passion fruit) or konyal or markisa These are fruit that you can found in Indonesia as a local fruit
Thanks for this great informative video! I absolutely love seeing and learning about foods in different cultures. I wish I could try more exotic fruits, but we don't have a ton where I live in the US. We have the more common ones like dragon fruit, star fruit, and tangelos. If you're lucky you can find more exotic fruits seasonally, but only a handful on this list. I've wanted to try the Buddha's hand for a while because I love anything lemony. I've tried yuzu kombucha before and it was the best I've ever had, but it was sadly discontinued. I hope I get to try the fruits on this list because so many sound delicious!

Very informative ♥️👍
I never see star apple in these unique fruits vlogs..Thank you for including it!..A few years ago I came across this amazing natural wonder growing locally in Cairns Australia, it tastes like a tangy custard pudding, super sweet & delicious, it could easily help anyone with a dairy allergy enjoy nature's custard or satisfy someone with a sweet tooth. It's also super healthy & packed full of vitamins.
Amazing! Very informative♥️
Wow it's very much more blessing in there country
I have had many of the fruits in your video and loved them. Thank you❤
We have many feijoa in New Zealand. It doesn't really taste like pineapple and strawberries. It's got it's own unique taste and texture. It tastes different depending on ripeness, I like it as a juice mixed with grapefruit. We also love dragon fruit here - pink and white. Pink seems to be more available here. It doesn't taste like kiwi at all - it's very mild and slightly sweet tasting. Tree tomatoes/tamarillo are beautiful too, Here they are mostly deep red in colour, with dark seeds. They're my favourite - but so expensive here. We also get kiwano, ugli fruit, yuzu and passionfruit, as they grow here. When I was a kid, we had wild passionfruit growing in the bush behind our house and they were delicious.
Мангустин ,очень вкусный фрукт ,сочный.
I never see fruits like these!!! You are so lucky to have a fruits like this, you are blessed I wish to visit and taste these fruits .❤❤❤❤

Yum! I just ate durian earlier
Mangosteen (Queen Victoria's favorite fruit as well) and Cherimoya are deffinitely my favorites!
A very informative video. I wish the name of each fruit would be displayed on the screen longer or as long as it’s being introduced.
Thank you so very much!
Chirimolla... Is for me the best.

A well informed and Educational video 👍
Would like a fruit salad with all of these. What a unique treat!
Want to try Mangosteen!!
I find that tropical zones produce the best fruit and each seem to have a version of soarsop these ecosystems have some of the most diverse types of life
In Jamaica we have some of these Star fruit, Star apple, Jackfruit, Ackee, Soursap, Passion fruit, Sapadilla=Nasberry , Ugly fruit. Looking forward to exploring the others.
Chico fruit - I call it nature’s marshmallow. Delicious!
Very well done!
Awesome video
love the mangosteens
That was amazing, thankyou! We ate a giant granadilla in Cairns. It was like passion fruit custard in the centre wirh stewed apple around that under a thin skin. Delicious!
I have never heard of many of these. I thought the Durian and Jack Fruit were the same. I would love to try many of them. But I would stay away from the one that is not healthy before true ripeness. I'd end up killing myself. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and beautiful film of all the fruits.
Thank you very much
I’ve had some of these and they’re amazing
I grew up eating most of these fruits 😊
really one of the useful bideo to know about the rare fruits
We had the jackfruit and sapadilla and starfruit 😊
V . V . V . Well Researched !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fulllllllllllllllllllll MarkSSSSSSSSSSS
Awesome ❤
I love all of them… the Rambutan is special…
Passion flowers also have the most enchanting, exotic, sultry sweet perfume.
Cherimoya is delicious. Durian is amazing. Once you get a taste, you'll know why people eat it. I associate the smell with the taste and it doesn't bother me. But I can see why some people can't be near it. Truly the King of fruits.
Amazing ❤❤❤❤❤
WOW!
❤ I would love to try all of them.
From Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹 we have guava, dragon fruit ,rambutan, jackfruit sappdilla,, soursop, star apple, star, fruit, passion fruit, thank you for sharing
I wish we had a few more varieties, I know they would thrive because our soil is good. It would be a blessing if some of these not found on our island could be imported.
Most of the fruits that you've mention are not native in Trinidad and Tobago.
