Anytime you move it is very stressful. The unknown challenges can work on your mind. Time , faith and a positive attitude will get you through and you look back and will say,why was I concerned. Hang tough

Its a huge change for you guys, so second thoughts seem normal to me. Wait- when did the skidsteer leave?? That is great that they offer cost share programs- definitely help offset some costs.
Hey bud, long time no see! I hope you guys are all doing well on the farm! Yeah I sold the skid steer since it was the biggest equipment payment I had. Yeah the cost shares will be awesome, I hope they have not reduced them since we did this last. Take care and best of luck bud.

We were quoted $3k to move just a king-size bed, 2 couches, 2 coffee tables, 4 end tables, 4 counter height chairs, and a kitchen table with 6 chairs. I was hoping to save a trip and have help to move the things I couldn't move on my own. I couldn't imagine what it would cost to have them pack up the whole house. Instead, I moved everything to Missouri with my cargo trailer and car hauler. It was a lot of work. It took me a total of 14 trips back and forth.
Man you ain't kidding! Stay tuned for the move series, but the total was almost 13k! But it was a 5 day process all told and they worked very hard and very fast! I'm probably on like trip number 10 so far and I have a lot more stuff to haul back over! But you do what you have to do in life!
I watch in awe. I have only lived in 3 houses in my whole life since I was 6 months old. Never moved into an empty one, not got to choose one. I'm 68, so I probably never will. It may be stressful, but you have a whole bunch of people out here cheering you on. Can't wait for the Missouri adventures.

Thank you! My first 'real' deer camp was in the UP!! Channing! The UP is like Southern IL, very rural and cons e r vtive area but you probably still have lower MI calling the shots? But either way it could not be anywhere close to what IL has become! Enjoy the UP! I miss it, well except for the 10 feet of snow, lol
Moved from Asia to Missouri right in the middle of covid -3 dogs and 35 yrs of belongings accumulated during my time there and bought a house unseen. I never want to do that again.

I am wishing you well. I hope it works out for you. I am staying in IL with no debt on a nice tract of western il land. I am not a fan of banks. Especially now. One thing about living in the country in IL. Few neighbors, no crowding, and just as nice of dirt without the rock much of Mo has. Our politics are ugly and I will keep vote against them and living care free. Jesus is my king so no fear here!
I am happy for you staying there. I hope things will turn around some day with some of the absolute madness going in with the crazy laws that only benefit criminals and penalize law abiding citizens. I appreciate the well wishes. There is no doubt this will be a long and expensive move in life for us, but like you I keep my faith in the Almighty as we have come out pretty good so far over the years with all of our land deals. Its a big junk to bite off but and no hill for a climber like you two. Also take the time to look into what NESARA is. It will give you great hope in our future and particularly ones that have debt in various forms. (The Best is Yet to Come) 😄
Illinois is the democrats testing grounds for anti 2A legislation. I totally understand why you had to move. Instead of fixing intercity problems let’s take the rights away from normal law abiding citizens. You shouldn’t have to tell them what you own cause they’re never gonna tell you what they have. Y’all are tough people and y’all get through this and come out on the sunny side.
