Same. I kept mine because the color way is just my favorite ever. But I agree. I was definitely disappointed in the feel. It does write beautifully and that helps me a lot.

Wow you got 2 really difficult things from them. The pen and the ink are really hard to find. Congrats. i love SCRIBO and they have such a great team there. It's a great pen . It is based on a beach so sand is the right idea. Where did you get the Red Scarlett?? I didn't know that Leonardo did one in that. Now you have 2 OMAS descendants, which is my favorite brand. ` I love SCRIBO and not so much Leo, but dang why did you have to have that here. I can't take my eyes off of the Red Scarlett. SCRIBO does some good work.

That is one beautiful pen and if it were still available I'd definitely be tempted. But I have been reluctant to pull the trigger on a piston filler without an ink window. I notice that this pen is the second piston filler without an ink window you have purchased recently (the other the Leonardo MZG). Would you mind passing on your honest experience with that feature? Have you found it a hindrance and has it bothered you? Maybe you can help me get over my reluctance. Thank you.

The way it is wet yet still quite controlled with your tiny handwriting is so amazing. My guilloche ebonite Leonardo is much too wet and I have no control of it. It’s so crazy how well that scribo writes. Someone’s jealous but I’ll keep their name away as they prefer not to be known. 😂😂😂

I have been looking for the Esterbrook Estie Evergreen also. So happy that you were able to add it to your collection.

I tried a Reddit formulation by r/fountainpens and its my dupe now using the same brand of ink as Ina ho, so it made sense - 10 drops of Pilot Iroshizuku Yu yake, 4 drops Chikarin and 1 drop Syo ro. Love it!

I was there as well. Don't know if you were there for more than one day, but they had a fantastic speaking panel on Friday night about getting started with vintage pens. They answered questions like why should I get one, what to look for, what to avoid, maintenance tips, and finally some suggested pens to buy. Can't say enough good things about it, and if you go to another pen show, they said they try to repeat it at all shows. And will definitely repeat it next year in Raleigh. BEAUTIFUL Danitrio - I somehow missed that table!

A chocolate TWSBI would be amazing. With bronze or copper trim depending on the shade mmmmmm. I think the Jinhao is your least expensive - I forgot you have that one! I love a good writing pen I don’t have to stress about taking out of the house.

I loved your video! I hope TWSBI will take your hint and come out with a chocolate model. All your pens are gorgeous and I hope to be adding a E95s and a 3776 to my collection soon. I think the amber 823 is my grail pen for now.

Those are some beautiful pens you have there.

I could never get along with the Lamy 2000. Those little metal things at the grip that hold the cap dug into my fingers and I hated that. Then the nib is too finicky and if you roll the pen even a tiny bit when writing you lose the sweet spot. Hated it to be quite honest. I am really surprised so many people love it. Your Mythic pen is just lovely. I believe that Dartmoor material is an original Conway Stewart resin.

Really like the ink selections. I also like greens and browns.
