I was there as well. Don't know if you were there for more than one day, but they had a fantastic speaking panel on Friday night about getting started with vintage pens. They answered questions like why should I get one, what to look for, what to avoid, maintenance tips, and finally some suggested pens to buy. Can't say enough good things about it, and if you go to another pen show, they said they try to repeat it at all shows. And will definitely repeat it next year in Raleigh. BEAUTIFUL Danitrio - I somehow missed that table!
How lucky are you the pen show was so close to your house! Those two pens seem like they were meant for you to discover them and their colorways are gorgeous. I love how you got into the history of the pens. I'm wanting to get a vintage pen but it is a little intimidating.
I mean how did I not know about this show?? I guess because it's smaller than some so don't get as much airplay. But yes. I am intimidated by vintage pens too. But everyone there was so nice and giving with their information. I had a great time!
