Thanks for the video. I’ve been learning about myopia a lot to try to help my daughter how has -4.25 glasses. My question is if you should look outside for 20 seconds, should you take off your glasses when doing this exercise to relax the eye? I haven’t come across a video that tell if you should keep the glasses in for off? I would like to do this 20/20/20 rule correctly. Please clarify would be greatly appreciated.

This is nicely done, video I went to the eye doc yesterday, I saw all the lenses in his desk and asked because he didn't use them .! I need glasses and he wrote the Rx and I paid, I am to pick them up in 5 tp 7 days. I guess all doctors have their own methods. He's been doing it for 35 years ,.. I only have Medicaid, the Dr. Seemed to know his stuff ,just burned out it.. there wasn't a chair empty that busy for one doctor. But two eye doctors in one strip mall and 5 eye doctor within a mile ,FL mind ya...😮 I guess it will just have to do...

Id love to understand the 3d part more. I sobbed a few times as a kid and sometimes was angry because they would tell my mom i cant see in 3D and at that age i felt like a failure. But i didnt understand it either, because I could tell which ones were 3D until maybe when it got a little harder to tell. But 3D movies look 3D, and i even saw an imax 4D movie on fish and that shit was scary! Its like the fish were directly in front of your face and youd watch their slow approach and then snap up their prey. Do we see 3D/4D differently somehow? My bad eye is like 20/145 with lenses and 20/400 without. What is it supposed to look like to me??

It either means you're far-sighted (can't see close-up) or you're developing presbyopia, meaning your eyes lose the ability to focus on close objects which is a normal part of aging.

I have a child who never sees double when stimuli moving toward him but his eyes move inward. Then when the stimuli is as close as possible, he cannot sustain the inward focus for >3 seconds (his left eye initially abducts and on a different attempt, the right one does). That sounds very helpful. And simple. I don't think even I'm too lazy, :D or will constantly procrastinate, not to do that. Probably not every 20 minutes at 1st (I know me :), but at least once or twice an hour. And I'll improve. Even *I should be able to do that. I've already started. (YAY! :) Rather relaxing. With the breathing, very relaxing. And not just staring and daydreaming (Which I always do, this making my eyes even worse!!!). I'm actually looking and doing my best to make my eyes focus. I actually think this is going to help! In a couple of weeks, I'll add a series of 20' for 20 seconds, 10' for 10 seconds... I'm commenting all this not to only motivate myself, but hopefully others, too. Maybe even form a small group and check in on certain days/dates to see who did what they were supposed to. And who needs a spanking! :D I'll try to remember to come back in a week or so... 👀

I've had amblyopia as far back as I can remember, it's been with me since kindergarten. My peers and older children used to make fun of me, like "look at me as if you were mentally retarded". Adults took my explanations for childish fantasies, as I used expressions like "I can see through my hand" and "I see like a robot". So I soon gave it up as it didn't really affect my life in any way, it didn't until I graduated from high school. Then I noticed that the vision in one eye had dropped, my parents would say to my complaints "it's because you play computer games non-stop etc". Then I graduated from uni and noticed that my eyesight continued to fall, so I even bought glasses, but for a long time I did not understand why and did not even know that there was such a disease
