Hi TrulosDoulos, No, the trailing stop will not execute and cause you to be short the stock, because you will not be able to sell without cancelling or modifying the trailing stop order. it is a little "clunky" to use trailing stops in fast markets. You'll need to modify the trailing stop order to a market (or specific limit) order when you wan't to sell. You can make the changes and sit with your finger "on the button", ready to execute. That could be. I trust Fidelity a bit more, they have well documented that they do not pay for order flow. I believe they are actively routing for best price. I have gotten very good fills over the years in fast moving stocks often in between the spread.

@@ThinkTradeProfit "do not pay for order flow" wouldn't necessarily include *selling* priority in it, so that would be an interesting technicality IMO.

Hi JasonN858, I'm still convinced that Fidelity gives the best executions for the $0 commission brokers. I have had accounts at TD Ameritrade and Schwab (before the merger). I have no problems even in fast markets. Good luck with your trading and thanks for supporting the channel!

Do you have any recommendations or tricks to keep ATP stable, or auto refreshing? I've had it freeze multiple times while in a trade or positions, or p&l doesn't update. I've had to revert back to Trader Dashboard, which is more of a pain, but at least I can refresh things quickly. The fills are great, I can use market orders and still get great fills. It's still worth the hassle but kinda scary while scalping. Thanks much.

@@JasonN858 Hi Jason, I haven't had any issues like that. I updated to version 11.03.347.0 recently. That is available from the main nav, 'Settings' > 'About Active Trader Pro'. Have you updated/re-installed ATP recently? And do you run it on a Macintosh or a Windows PC? I have heard of many difficulties with the Mac version. It shouldn't require a massive PC build. I have run on an old Dell i5 laptop in the past with no video card just integrated graphics and 8-16 GB memory.

Hi lifelessplum, Unfortunately, no. There isn't any feature to support that. I think the best you could do if you were on longer time frames would be to recalculate your stoploss daily. There are some interesting trigger values you can use for Conditional Orders - www.fidelity.com/learning-center/trading-investing/trading/conditional-order-types But, I know these are not exactly what you are looking for. Hi kwd, I don't know of any settings that will change the default "snap" behaviors. The best suggestion I can think of is to reload your saved layout (main nav > layouts > then select the one where you were moving charts) when they all snap together and stack up. That will save the time of moving them all back in place manually. I hope that helps. Good Luck!

Hi Ken, No, Trade Armor is another way to enter trades inside of Active Trader Pro. It is still there. It is best for "set & forget" type trades where you know for Profit Target and Stop Loss and want those entered. It is not good for quick scalp trading. Active Trader Pro does not have Renko brick charting, and the smallest intradday time frame is 1 minute for charts. I don't think you can make changes to any stocks already traded and settled, but it is worth a phone call. Good Luck!

Hi Rob, All or None is a condition placed on an order indicating that the entire order be filled or no part of it. This means you do not want a partial fill at the price. It's not really used by non-Institutions much, but in some entities or people may have a large order, say 10,000 shares, and they want to submit it to have it exceuted 'All or None' at a specific price or time. Hi jodys720, I do still recommed Fidelity as the best of the free commission brokers. With thousands of hours trading with them over the years, I know that their prices are fair and the exceutions are consistently fast. I wish they would do more updates for Fidelity Active Trader Pro, but I know I can rely on the platform. Likewise, in the event of a trade error or another situation where I need to get out of a trade because my power or internet failed (it's rare, but things happen), I can get someone on the phone in seconds to get out of my trade. The best performance info you can get is from the Fidelity website, Login > Accounts & Trade > All Accounts then select the three dots for more options and Select "Performance". Hi Dan, Good question. Back then, during COVID, volatility was greater and the "moves" were faster and somewhat larger than today. I found myself entering scalp trades at some middle values (80.20, 80.30, 80.40) rather than the 00's and 50's (80.00, 80.50, ...). The support and resistance levels (or where the market may run stops) would be just above or just below those levels. It was better for me to short trades a little above 00's and 50's, like 80.01, 80.02, ...80.51, 80.52, etc. If the stock was going to turn, it would happen around that level. Unfortunately, because of FOMO, I would enter shorts at 50.30 and it would run all the way to 80.50, and I might close. Then, it would turn back around and head below my previous entry. In recent days, I still think of these levels, but the moves are slower. Thanks for supporting the channel. Good Luck!

Hi CCGB, The fills on Active Trader Pro are fast. I have never been on Lightspeed, but have considered. It has a great reputation (and some fees, of course). You could always try a small account at Fidelity and try it out. Good Luck!

@@ThinkTradeProfit i think i will brother. i got eaten up by lightspeed commissions after a few months i noticed 3k in fees lol was like oh man

@@ThinkTradeProfit not sure if you know but lightspeed adds a bunch of other fees too like execution fee and about 2 or 3 more outside of just regular commissions. kinda crazy but i think that's for more of professional traders with 6 figure accounts not for rands like me with only 30k lol i could be wrong tho
