Great Video!! I primarily trade momentum stocks HOD gappers, low float, & high volume. I had great fills with market orders but most importantly I love the ability to color code the level 2 with the green, yellow,red & overall responsiveness in fidelity. However, the charts are awful to look at constantly readjusting and plotting trend lines, where as on TD, think script can automate some of the important levels I'd like to plot like Yesterday's Close,High,etc. So I like TD Charts, Fidelity for executions :)

I am using TOS for backtesting, but Fidelity is still my main platform. The L2 info is useful (in entirety) and the uptime is necessary.
Thanks so much for this. I have just a little bit left in my TOS account and nailed a good TSLA out of the money call trade, up 2400 and then the freeze. OMG talk about scary..LOL! Worked out, but I know others took some major losses from what I read. Accounts were blown. How irresponsible of TD. They even came up with a poor excuse to one the most popular scalpers here on CZcams. He finally broke and said TD is not telling him the truth. Anyways Peace, and keep up the awesome vids. Keep telling everybody.
I actually left TD's ToS about 6 weeks ago for Fidelity's Active Trader Pro.
Majority of your examples were on NASDAQ, have you considered that some of the Fidelity level 2 is fidelity making a market?
That is correct. Plus no industry colors on Tos. That is a major downside of Tos. Glad someone pointed it out. Plus Tos fonts and text are harder to read Customer service good on both thkx
THANK YOU! I been saying TOS level 2 is garbage for awhile. Glad somebody else understand what I been trying to explain. I've compared to DAS trader pro and there is so much missing on TOS. I see people use TOS lvl 2 and dont understand how they can use it effectively, its garbage. I been looking for free better data for awhile, das is spendy. im going to try fidelity after seeing this.
I'm thinking of switching brokers after the ToS problems, and after your video, to fidelity. My only problem is I execute orders off of the trading DOM ladder, and from my knowledge Fidelity active trader pro doesnt have a DOM ladder. Any thoughts on this or way to get a DOM ladder from Active Trader Pro? The reason I think a DOM is better than market order hotkeys is because if the spread is wide you can place a specific limit order quickly and not get screwed by the spread as if you market ordered. How do you get around this when you use Fidelity without a DOM ladder for orders?
Does Active Trader Pro have direct routing like Lightspeed? Can you place instant buy sell orders for scalping?
What’s the latest on setting up your hybrid ATP-TOS TRADING PLATFORM. That would handle the missing ATP VWAP problem too, right?

Hey Ken! Hope you are doing well. I noticed that the Level 2 quotes on TOS tend to offer the bid or ask of stocks on multiple stock exchanges. However, I see ATP offering the Bid and Asks of the stock only on NSDQ, NYSE, BATS, and maybe 1 or 2 other exchanges. Would this create any issue when executing day trades? Thanks!
