I imagine if you ran a steam cycle with no water to it the element would burnout. Cause i know somebody that had lowes install the dryer but they must have stole the kit and never hooked a cold hose to it. And shes used the steam setting but she wants me to hook it up.

This was exactly what i needed. I kinda knew how to do it but this was like having your buddy come over while you install it. Just to give you that little confidence on what you jeed to do. Thanks buddy.

Unless I missed something, you didn't show us you replacing that part...does it clip on over the OLD part, or do you remove the old clip?

Mine won’t budge. If I shake it it wiggles enough to make me think it’s not frozen. If I could see where the actual catch is it might help.. it’s too hard to see it in the video

Could I just attach a Y connector to the faucet and then two hoses one for washing machine one for dryer?

I didn't know what type of attachment style this rear wiper had and i was sitting back here confused for a second. This video is the perfect amount of information without a bunch of unnecessary yapping. Once I saw how to remove it, I got ot installed in a flash. Thanks so much for saving me time.

My washer and dryer has a sink and cabinet in between washer and dryer . I don’t want a braided cable stretching across sink. Do I need to install this steam hose? I don’t really want to drill hole through cabinet to extend hose to dryer

my fridge has been awesome until this has started roughly 5years old. Is there a fix. what needs to be replaced?

I trimmed the broken cable, tied a piece in the middle in less than 5 minutes. Then… spent a half hour trying to get the plastic clip into the grip on the spring. Went to CZcams, first video was yours, and in less than 30 seconds had the clip in place. THANK YOU, Most Fine, Sir! 100 Hero points to you!

In my case, my dryer isn't near my washer to do this....lol

I bought the ones off of Amazon and one has already broken again. (3 months later) They are plastic, after all...I don't see the other one lasting much longer.

For everyone having issues with leaks. Use Teflon tape on the threads, not sure why he didn’t do this. It’s plumbing 101, it’s designed to seal water lines at their junction points.

Still not as loud as large amperage lightning strikes.

Mine appears to be caught on something, can only pull it out an inch or so. Then I'm basically pulling on the entire freaking fridge, which I can do as a big dude, but clearly there's something in my way, can't see what. Stupid design. Curious what it is though given how much freaking force I'm putting on it without it just breaking. Wonder if it's a big icicle somehow.

Man it almost took the life out of me to hook this water up to my dryer but I did it and we good now so we will see what happens thanks for the video

Thanks Ryan - I followed your video and all worked well. My wife had her fingers crossed, she was hoping I would fail so I would have to buy her a new refrigerator since ours was only 6 yrs old. Ultimately, I had to go back in because it kept leaking. This time I change the filter and made sure it locked in place. All Is well and thank you again for saving me 2k on a new one!
