If you cut the circles at the same time they will 'weld' themselves together. Just look it up on youtube. Although 3 layers would have been a bit much

Thanks for the video! For those that have a large, high watt Nova, what would be an example of distribution of labor if they added a Bolt to their shop? I have read where some relegated their big Novas to mainly panel cutting, especially on big sheets.

You should try the lasermatic by Roly. Theirs comes with honeycomb bed, full enclosure with exhaust and fully assembled. You’re up and running in 10 minutes and it’s $1399. Cheaper better and has the same power. You can also get an upgrade to 30w if you want. Comes with the rotary tool as well. It basically is all in one where with xtool you gotta pay to have the extras like the enclosure and honeycomb bed. Plus Roly has it all setup out of the box. You take off one or two shipping reinforcement and then it’s good to go.

The shelves look amazing I do hate the factory design on all the gun safes. You can fit way more guns if you do open shelves like two on the sides one on the back is my plan. I am not good at wood working like you or I’d make some kind of slider for my shelves to because I like short guns but also have hunting rifles. Great video

Thanks for the video, very informative. I was going to go with a less expensive CO2 blue and white machine, but have decided that Thunder is probably a better way to go. I wish the bed was larger, but I think it will get me started with everything I planning on doing.

It's a nice laser if you're looking into working with thin wood/acrylic or just engraving. Trying to cut 1/4" or 3/8" will take multiple cuts / longer times. The more powerful Bolt's are way overpriced compared to higher powered CO2 Tube lasers.

For the leds to reflect the light proportionately across the circle, your frame thickness need to be at least 1inch. Instead of cutting the circles and gluing them you could bend a black/white strip of 1 inch in round shape.

On the Thunder Bolt laser how large of a wood cereal bowl can be engraved on its side using the ROKU Twister tray and a PiBurn Grip chuck rotary? Can the rotary be placed directly on the crumb tray to gain Z depth without the ROKO, or can the crumb tray be removed and the rotary put right on the surface below the crumb tray rail? I’m trying to figure out what the maximum Z depth is that I can get using a rotary. I don’t want to spend almost twice the money on the Bolt Pro 22 with its deeper Z depth.
