    Much as I love ways of making interesting and surprising foods this recipe is terrible. Boiling honey completely destroys it's flavour as well as any semblance of character that it has to start with. Beekeepers work very carefully around what temperature they allow honey to be at when they are processing it. Sure, boiling it will make it easy to work with but you lose the unique flavour characteristics of the particular honey you have. You might as well get some refined white sugar and slightly caramelise it.
