I have flown the Inibuilds A320 about three times, however, as you mentioned the FBW a320 has better handling and the cockpit seems more realistic in the rendering of the knobs, lights, etc than the Inibuilds. Also yesterday, I had an issue with the ILS capturing with the Inibuilds, it seems like it did not capture the GS on approach. However, the question is, does the frequencies for the ILS need to be tuned in manually? That is not so in the FBW.

You don’t need Navigraph if you fly in the USA , you have all of the charts on Skyvector !

Yes , it is getting too expensive ! It is even not worthy anymore unless MSFS 2024.will work properly without stutters and crashes and photogrammetry everywhere !

If I were to add up my simulator career of 20 years, I’ve probably spent at least $5k across sims, hardware, and add ons. Over half of that costs is just the computers. I will say though, when going through pilot training, it helped me get farther ahead and spent far less time in the aircraft, meaning not spending hundreds on the aircraft and instructor so I say the cost was valuable. I’ve got probably 5,000 hours or more of total sim time since FS2000.

While one could certainly spend a small fortune on addons, it is completely unnecessary. I have not spent a dime on addons for the simulator, but my money has gone for hardware. I have built 2 gaming computers exclusively for flight sim. I fly in VR and have upgraded my headset several times so I now own 3. I bought a YAW VR Motion simulator chair and a Velocity One Flight Yoke. In total I have invested more than $15,000 CAD on the hobby. I couldn't afford it, but I'm glad I have it! I can't wait for MSFS 2024 in November - I'll dedicate one of my setups to each sim.

Graphics is the last thing they need to work on it looks great already. What we need is a proper ATC for IFR airline simmers. I really hope it's not a copy and paste. I'm on xbox series x, so we don't get all the good mods that pc players get. Therefore, we deserve the right to complain a little more.

The current version works great for me, it would be nice to need less add ones but based on how it was when 2020 first came out I’m kinda nervous about the quality control and maybe not a day one release purchase for me might wait for the first round of updates

Hi Gavin. This has worked perfectly for me. BUT since SU15, once you have loaded the FP etc and launched the sim, the aircraft appears in the air at the point you chose. When you press fly,. the aircraft is at the same point but on the ground now!! Can you look into it if you have time to see if there is a fix, plse? Keith

They MUST provide the minimum decent features this time: - realistic flight model - ILS and visual landing aids OK Because in 2024 a simulator where crosswind landing is still unaccurate with PAPI not correct over an ILS leading you in the terrain is unacceptable ! Beauty and other features can't compensate this. And I hope they don't keep the exact old code which comes from FSX in 2007 that makes people require a war machine PC to handle the sim ! Weather radar capability is also very welcome.

Personally, I’m not impressed. For the main reason that FS2020 was supposed to be the final version with updates as necessary. For those of us who forked out good money to get 2020, including numerous add ons, having to do this again for the next version is not welcome at all. It’s issues like this which made me give up on flightsimming with FSX many years ago.

My biggest fear is TIME. The time and effort it takes to actually enjoy everything that I purchased to make it worthwhile. Everything has a learning curve, and you must be prepared to invest in time to fully appreciate your investment.

No such thing as 'real life', you need to brush up on your grammer and refer to REALITY. Enjoyed the video and you gave good information. Shame about using the 'xbox' sim really. I wouldn't swop my 'P3Dv5' and 'Active Sky' and 'FSLabs A320' for more realism.

It has a 777 cabin, for a bit more you can get the Inibuilds A300 a similar aircraft or even the free A310

Better performance. Of course there does come a time when better hardware is a way forward to improving you own experience. But the minimum specs are very low for MSFS 2024, however that will be on low to medium settings. I just hope that the new code will take away some of the stutters, also the micro pauses that occur as the simulator caches in the "geographical" "tiles", so to speak, as we fly from mountains, to open countryside then suburben areas at low level during the appraoch phase, which is an absolute immersion breaker for many. Many stutters can be the cause of poor internet as we stream in the landscapes from the servers, but I am hoping they optimise that side too.

It seems to be nice, but I'm still wondering if the effects that are included in FSTraffic would appear when using the models throught FSLTL. I mean, effects such as the reverse thrusts in landing, gear up... Nice video as ever @Easyjetsimpilot . Sorry for being so late, I've discovered your channel recently

Here's the scoop. They're not missions as far as I know, they are a part of the sim. This was designed by Paul Lange from ACES studios for FS11 which was called "something to do" way back in 2010. Dovetail Games implemented a rudimentary version of the concept for Flight Simulator World, but Asobo appears to have refined it. The original design was you drive to the airport, you get out of your car, walk to the aircraft and do a pre-flight walk around. It's actually integrated into the sim, you choose your aviation 'career' path. FSW from memory you had to complete each step along the way to get to the next level and progress. From these trailers it looks like the whole system has been fully implemented and done the way Paul envisioned.

Mircosoft Flight Simulator is nicely a good and relaxing airplane simulator I never played the 2020 game before or I'm not BIG for MSFS but oh man that game has too many mods and hardware.

Pretty much similar...plus DCS, i feel atm i should give one up and it may be msfs especially now the new one is coming out...another expense. Ive just bough a 4090 at 1500 quid a 4tb ssd for DCS at 200 quid...crazy, crazy money.

A lot of those addons for sure they are NOT essential addons.

MSFS promo videos have been pure fiction since MSFS 2002. We only really know when it's released. We'll buy it anyway in the hope that it will fix issues from last 2020 update. I'm hoping it doesn't brick too much of my payware.

Hello Gavin. I try to add the VRM file of Fsttaffic as a customer ruleset in vpilot but nothing happens. Vpilot gives error loading the planes in and says it will try to recreate the model. Any suggestions what I might be doing wrong? Thanks

the ILS part and airport charts reading is weird, TOD sometimes work, on the NX part is flawless, maybe i'm doing stuff wrong :) You have to insert ILS freq in the console because in the MCDU/FMC does not work when trying to insert 111.90 for example. The NX just does it right. Lets wait for the V3 variant. and if you put 100 people as load and 4 tons fuel, 0 cargo, the plane eats up all the 1800 m runway using config 1 and FLEX 58:)) So you have to go full power with flaps 2 to take off. The NX takes off about half of runway, same config, flaps 1. Who is doing it right? On the ground the V2 is way better. The NX is lazy on turns.

I'm hoping Fenix will do a Neo family once they've released the A319/A321. Then we won't have to make that difficult decision of which to pick!

The "three custom voice edits" in the Pro subscription version description is not clear enough. Be warned. You get three chances to edit you voice recording, and you cannot add any more voices either. This software has potential, but the current existing voice models are rather amateurish. For the High price, I expected a lot more.

Looks much better than the MXI one. Nice addition, if a little pricey. I may wait for a sale. As for my favourite approaches: Corfu, Geneva, Nice, Madiera, London City.....oh and who can forget St. Maarten and St. Barts!

How come you don't use the efb to send the details to the mcdu

The idea is cool, but there's no way I'd pay a subscription price for cabin announcements. Also, I didn't think the voices were particularly amazing.
