Yeah but you have to look at how many serve points are played also. Im sure the big 3 are serving less than the people they are playing??
Kick all day. I was such a terrible flat server. 😂😂😂
You have to do a lot of shoulder and upper/mid back strengthening exercises like reverse flys, dumbbell rows, etc to pull off poor-leverage one-handed like this.
Been playing tennis for three years and I can occasionally slice but never could get it consistently no matter what I did. This is especially frustrating as I’m a lefty and this is supposed to be one of my biggest weapons. Patrick, this video single-handedly got me such a consistent slice it feels like I’m dreaming. Usually I try and mix up my serves but today I was only doing slices. It was so much fun seeing the ball fly off to the right with so much action. I was consistently hitting unreturnable serves. My service games flew by. It was awesome. Thank you so much for your instruction, I’m surprised I’ve never seen this tip before.

I agree
one of the nicest forehand I've seen here
French Open crowd is the worst
Correct & another way I teach this is just get your chest out over your knee.
Love that song.
I have to remmber this to have more effortless power
Tennis fans should be classy. Please don’t be like football fans. I mean both types of football. 😂
One more advantage of magnet move, it is easier to conduct top spin if you hit ball in phase A
Just like badminton especially in indonesia open.. I think for tennis in some series would be good
I wish in America they would’ve focused more on sports like tennis and golf. There is so much more money in them that American football and basketball.
Sing me something new
5 comments love Tom Pakistan
when bad analogy = bad science = humour. Sometimes the demonstrator is not dishonest, they simply don't realise they changed the vital factor which convinces a kid who wants to see them as the miracle answer to losing. In this case, the Bh "more power" is felt because of a vastly different wrist position changing grip and arm strength potential. Being aligned ahead of the body, or horizontally abducted also increases the compression with shoulder joint which also supports strength in a static/isometric position. This is not the same as when there is rotation of the support for the shoulder (the torso) at speed.
Iga cheats too much, like raising her hand and stopping the point play to indicate an out vall a few times during the osaka match only to be called in, that is desperate and a cheater mindset
so much wiffle waffle (with the grips you can do.....something) , and notice the young boy player does not in fact have his racquet "perfectly centred" in any of the situations; that is because the division of selection between fh and bh does not relate to the centreline of the body, but to the right arm connection to the chest, and to the differing roles between thumb and other fingers. Simply ask yourself, which stroke/side of the racquet face do you use for a ball directly at your centreline, or even as far across as under racquet arm armpit. This indicates the actual first movement and axis for even all the players that Mouratoglou has accompanied to slams. A great training facility and business model (and promotion) no doubt.
Nick Bolletieri would be proud. It's not what you know it's how you repackage and market existing knowledge😂
Encouraging was the best part of this short! Great teaching!
I prefer Sampras. His toss is literally in the same place all the time. Very unpredictable.
Naah thats crap. People should support players inbetween the points not during the game. Dont be a selfish kid, you aint even playing why should you be emotionally uncontrolled when you're just a spectator. Spectate and shush. Players play spectators spectate.
Patrick Patrick you are just jealaous that Iga won't wotk with you so you are disagree with her. Please hide your ego in the pocket sometimes. She won big time with Osaka. In that kind of time players need to focus 300%.
He's using the Wawrinka Kotov match as an example because neither player works with him. Let somebody disturb Holger Rune's concentration and see him post another stupid video like this.
Each player's serve is unique... "natural" ..this one doesnt seem to be though (to me at least)
100% agree. Iga is an alien, I don't bother at all
Agree. We are not watching brain surgeons at work. Of course there are limits.
He probably created a style 😂
Slice and kick serve.
Love from Pakistan ❤
Holger : do not bully my coach😬
good video
Shouting during someones serve motion for example got to be super annoying
Wow!! Such a beautiful insight.. he understands tennis much more deeper than most.. I am shocked with the fact that big 3 won just 50-55% of points yet dominated
100% agree. Crowd engagement makes the match more fun. ofcourse there has to be certain boundaries.
Yeah, I agree, the shouting and the cheering makes for an amazing atmosphere. I love the “Ole” and the chants and all of that. However, note that I said “cheering”, not “jeering”. There is a difference. Spitting gum is not okay. Jeering just because a player challenges a call as is their right is not okay. Jeering when Novak face plants trying to get Herbert’s drop volley and then goes to clean himself up for one second at his seat IS NOT OKAY!!!
Remember though, Fed's backhand wasn't even a weakness really until Nadal exploited it... And Rafa has the joint best forehand in tennis history, along with Fed himself. And his is probably the best spin forehand. Federer's backhand was always superb but, exploitable by some players. That being said, Fed's neo-backhand in 2017 demolished Rafa at AO.
OK I have now gone from Fed to Djo
Right all the time because the education in people from her country is amazing
1 hander is so damn hard to hit right...
Totally disagree, my friend. Support your player between points, not during the play IMHO.
Tennis players and fans are the softest ever, I swear
@@LucasMartins-en9erIt's not hockey; crowd noise can disrupt a player's ability to anticipate a shot. Silence is necessary to return 100+ MPH serves and groundstrokes averaging above 65 MPH.
No. This will be horrible for tennis. It'll be like court 'coaching' all over again. Its very hard to prove that someone is distracting on purpose compared to just cheering, as such a thing is subjective opinion. If you just have a blanket ban on being loud and distracting for Everyone, then its objectively fair for all players.
great atmosphere in RG? what the hell are you talking about, we have by far the worst tennis crowd in france
Agree 100% that's why Serena would like to win on RG so bad to show middle finger to the haters ;-)
Karsten Braasch😂
Thats why I like playing tennis and go to (American) football games.
I am now upset to know that I am right-eye dominant, despite having 0.001% tennis capabilities of Roger🤣
Mouratoglou does open lessons now? How do you book?
Tennis was best during covid when there was no crowd.
Do you agree?
