In loving memory of the Antonov AN-225. In my opinion, one of the two best cargo aircraft ever built by man. (The other being the Airbus Beluga 😊). Please don't stop flying the AN-225. It is a nice way to pay tribute to it.

I really enjoyed (and laughed) watching the video. The Antonov AN-225 is an aircraft that I love. I've flown it a lot in MSFS v4. I've always marvelled at the patience you have to have to handle it, especially when it comes to landing.

So I had a quick look at this Saba place. There is one main road. It’s called The Road. There is a hotel, a school, and even a college. Several stores for anything you might need, a couple nice restaurants, and HOLY SHIT WHY ARE THERE SO MANY CEMETERIES?!

I mean, the F/A-18 does land on aircraft carriers…except carriers also have an arrestor cable for the landing hook that seems absent from this airport.

I understand that the army airplane jet wouldn't break because it's built to fight but how come the other planes don't break if they have a crash like that

About 20 years ago I got to see the AN-124 land at the Medford, OR airport. Not sure why it was there, I think it had something to do with Erickson Aviation, but when it was flying in, it just kept coming, I kept thinking, "It HAS to be here already!" it took probably 10 minutes from when we could first see it to when it finally reached the end of the runway to turn around, it was MASSIVE. I couldn't imagine seeing the AN-225 since its supposed to be longer. I've flown on a 747 and an A380, but for some reason, the AN-124 seemed so much larger than those were.

your sinkrate is WAY too high in all of your attempts. That causes jumping, bounching and extends your braking distance. Try to glide down in a controlled manner with a maximum of 200-300ft/s. The landings will be much softer, much more controllable and successful as well.

It takes like ten seconds just to get the reversers on in the Xbox version.
