- Hi, in this video I try to land planes of all sizes at Courchevel Airport. It is one of the most dangerous airports in the world where several accidents have already taken place.
!!!Don't take this video too seriously, I know an AN-225 can't land at Courchevel in real life!!!

Stopping performance was so good the moment it touched the ground it completely stopped and did a front flip for flex

The AN-225 was designed to land at any type of airport. Even this one has landed on grass and dirt runways. With the risk that this entails.

WOAH!!!! He ain't lying when he said the Boeing C-17 Globemaster had good stopping performance, the reverse thrust was INSANE!!!
I think they can take off in like 1500ft too
however you have almost always made very smooth landings

The environment needs to be more reactive to the plane. There are so many instances where it looks like you landed fine, but in reality the wing would be broken and there'd be dirt everywhere.

Well, if you wanna get over 100 people up there via jet looks like the C-17 would be the best choice.
Is the airport Isafjordur in Iceland available? If so you should try to land that AN-225 on runway 08 which requires a 180 degrees turn on final approach. Have been there on a Dash 8 a couple of years ago, stunning approach in a canyon with cliffs on both sides. Would be cool if you can pull that off....
It's probably in the game, but the An 225 will be a problem because it turns really slow...

Courchevel in the French alps is the most dangerous airport in europe and 6th most dangerous in the world, as the runway is at 18 degrees slope and the short runway of 521 m (1592 ft).

Apparently its easier to land antonov than an A320 on that airport, stopping power is of the charts with those big planes

I live close to Courchevel and I had landed there a couple of time, but with a little Jodel moutain plaine that is able to land on mountain grass strip so Courchevel is not too hard.

i would try and do a side step to the runway it would slow the plane down and very good for short runways
The slope really helped the larger planes stop - e.g. the 747 stopped before the A320neo. Either that or the physics are bugged...

The gross weight of the larger aircraft made it more successful to land.
5th dangerous is madeira airport, 4th is st maarten, st martin, 2nd is st barts and 1 is saba airport

Another reason why Courchevel is so dangerous is because of the steep mountains, it's impossible to make a go-around. Or else you'll crash.........
