I'll never forget my grandma letting me stay up late to allow me to watch Johnny Carson with her. It was a school night but she was, well, awesome. Falling sleep happy and hearing her laugh, yep, best memories out there

I am so sorry he smoked so heavily and was so addicted to cigarettes. He could have had many more years with us if he had been able to.quit smokingany years earlier. I don't think he ever was able to quit until the veey end when he was too sick to do it anymore.

Johnny was always about lighthearted comedy and interesting guests and conversation. Some of his favorite guests... ✔Robert Blake, ✔Rodney Dangerfield, ✔Robin Williams, Steve Martin, ✔Jonathan Winters, ✔Buddy Hackett, Rich Little, and a host of celebrities.

The elderly lady who was in a doughnut commercial was also in a Hertz commercial yelling;”go OJ go”.

Oh my goodness! When he got frustrated with that toy basketball player and put him in front of the cannon and then blew him across the stage, I laughed so hard it hurt. I remember that night like it was yesterday, and it was 40 years ago.

I grew up watching Johnny Carson with my mom and dad. After the Honeymooners we watched the Tonight Show, I loved it! Johnny was my favorite late night host, along with all his guests! He was the best, and I Miss him! He was the king of Late nights, there will never be another like Johnny Carson⭐️!

I remember being a pre-teen, babysitting my brothers on Sat nights when my parents went out. The only tv we had (1965-67) at the time was in their bedroom. When my brothers would be in bed I would put on my moms pegnoirs (sp) and watch Johnny's show. I don't think I understood many of the jokes but this has been a favorite memory for years. I loved the animal routines the best.

Perhaps my all-time favorite ad! I'd also heard that it was John Huston's voice on one of them.
