I bought some Amazon basic color changing bulbs. Online it says they preset “scenes” but I can’t figure them out.
Should be renamed 'How to mount a TV on a wall'
Thanks, it’s good to see how to set up routines many thanks
4:58 im unable to get the location party
Is there a way to have this script run say every 30 min so when a person uses the google device in a set time frame this script will run again and put it back on the google displays?
Let’s see version two 😊
Can i install other apps in nest hub
Does it work with video doorbell
can't figure out how to get alexa to chang the color of all lights in a group at once
I have a nest 2gen in my room i use it for music and to watch youtube in the night to sleep and i love mine i even have my pictures on the display my phone numbers on contacts i have thwm in case of emergency
this video isn't really helpful
I'm curious, if I have a matter device added to Home Assistant, will it also be visible and controllable in google home if I scan the QR code? in other words can I view and control a matter device from both HA and Google Nest/Home interchangeably?
You LOST ME! How will it shut off at sunrise? It only indicated to turn on @ sunset. Or does it automatically know to shut off by setting up for sunset?
All fun and games until your hass stops working for some reason. Do this so your wall switch turns leds ON even when hass doesnt work.
It sucks
Watching you cut that sheetrock is painful. Buy a reciprocating saw or just use a sharp razor knife.
Extremely so much to do just to get it to work geez
Great video thanks
how to add new device without login to 3rd party app first ?
Hello. Thank you for the review. One question plz: Is it possible to use the Google Nest Hub as a standalone photo frame without connecting to a phone or tablet, without a Wi-Fi connection, but simply by uploading photos to the built-in memory?
Wouldn't work. It would just show you an error. Best solution would either be a nice Android tablet or a digital photo frame
@@NickRains thank you 🤝
no one is forcing you to use it whiny b..
If I have a nest audio and a nest hub can I have both of them in the same room and control them both with out them interfering with each other?
wtf dude.... those wires are perfect to set fire in your home
Cut the drywall with only the drywall saw, no need to drill holes in the wall.
Works fine with normal cards, however it doesn't with the ha-floorplan card. Just shows a black screen. Any work around on that?
Extreme phag review that doesn't tell you any reason why I would want Alexa. Durpa durr it plays music that's so new to speakers durr.
Are you able to sync apple calendar to the dashboard?
Adalight with an arduino is best Its cheap and no capture card just a usb cable much cheaper and same or better quality
"I can only see my dogs if they're on the counter" 😆
Can you help me create an automation? how can I make an automation to make the lightbulb change to a designated color When We flipped the switch. On-off-on? I like colorful lights. My family member wants white light. I would like to be able to program AI to change the light to a colorful light. And then we use the switch to turn it off. And back on and when it turns on it's a normal color.
I was using mine because I have low visionary can no longer read. The last year so it's been messing up like crazy. And I used to be an IT tech so I tried all the tricks that we learned in support and I can't get this thing to work for somebody who's blind. Can somebody please just tell me how the crap to use this thing if I'm blind
When does the video about the Dashboard released? Great videos sad that there is so much time in between the realeses
Great video, thanks! Is your dog a McNab?
Oh man I thought this was going to be much easier but I'm sooo glad I've found your video, thank you for the explanation!!
And don't say computer. You'll trigger my Alexa unit.
LOL you call this a project 😂😂
Why do you add it under integrations rather than devices? Everywhere in the video, including the title, you refer to it as a device.
is there a solution to launch the script from the nest hub with "hey google"?
When casting HASS to the nest hub, how do I get the display to dim / turn off after a period of time? I'd like to use this in the bedroom, but of course at night I'd want the display to dim/turn off. However right now, the screen stays fully on when casting.
Question, what about when there is no basic integration like that? Or it just won't work. Would love to see some trouble shooting videos with these scenarios.
We have long resisted getting an Echo. Never really saw a need. czcams.com/users/postUgkxhB5YOMNj04GuoAosExygP4cH-dKeb4aB When we recently completed some remodeling in our home, we realized we had failed to add a switch to turn on a certain lamp across the room. We couldn't run new wiring (which would have been expensive if we could), so we got our first Echo which completely solved our problem for about $40 (Echo Dot and smart plug). We just ask Alexa to turn on/off that light. Heartily recommend it to solve this kind of conundrum!
too bad not touch screen
Can I add my wife's voice to my echo dot?
Hello, I have a question. I have portable thermostats Habitat, which send the signal to the wall-mounted ac unit. I don't want to buy their hubs because they are super expensive. The portable thermostat works with RF. Is there a way I can connect those to HA? Thank you
HELL NO, THE MAX and smaller hub SUCKS, EVERYTHING ABOUT IT...
does the google nest hub are the app smart things?
we joke about the american walls but now ic why they can come very handy :/
I get notified by my echo device when there's a weather alert like a tornado watch. Why can't I use a weather alert to trigger a routine to set up a color coded weather alert for deaf people who can't hear the audio. There are three categories of alerts, so the logical colors would be green for advisories, yellow for watches, and red for warnings.
That is a great question!!!!
Impressive... but can it make you dinner?
Hello! I am looking to learn how to connect an LED light strip to an arcade button so that when the arcade button is pressed, the LED light strip turns on or flashes a specific colour. I have looked online and it appears that an ardunio is helpful in doing this, but I am not sure how to make the connection, or what kind of hardware is needed. This is my first lighting project so any help is appreciated!
