(1996- 2006 except weekends and ceremony my Rolex days lol) mechanic is really great...even today in my display case .but exterior and bracelet have signs of intensive use. I change bezel ,all bracelet link pins... after 4 failures of theses links.. origin glass is perfect. I do service , but no polishing.

I was so happy to receive mine a few years ago. Sadly it wouldn't run reliability. Stopping several times a day even though fully wound. Bummer.

Interesting. Look, I am really thinking of buying a San Martin "homage" Rolex GMT. And actually, I really don't know anything about watches : doing research I actually learn later that this is a copy of a Rolex. So my point is : I really don't think in buying to own something that looks like Rolex. So I would really appreciate your help : could you give me a GMT with a jubilee bracelet for 350 bucks, I would really appreciate your help. Thanks.

Brilliant repair and restoration. One observation I have is that although the dial has lume, the hands don't, so you'd never be able to read the time in the dark. The dial certainly looks much better with the lume. Perfectly applied!! Do you think that the watch may originally have had different hands? Love your videos, especially your honesty! I just bought one of these as my entry into the hobby first attempt disassembly, so thank you for covering this movement. Unfortunately I had a screw ping out of my tweezers and after a few hours of searching, it's a gonna 😭 I need to obtain a set of assorted screws now but hey how, we've got to start somewhere. 🍻

Excellent video HB - sorry about Furman.too - know that i have been there (my cat’s name was Talisa).

CNC machined parts will give good accuracy the finish of the surfaces is superficial and does not play a part in how well the watch will run. Attention to detail in assembly would be more important for the watch to work well. Polishing watch parts to a high degree takes much longer than making the parts accurate. That is why the cost is low on some watches.

you helped me with my "Birks" Enicar OPS, it's still kicking, still one of my favorite watches!

Now it's even cheaper. I bought the same one only green there for 11 dollars. Including shipping to New York and tax, it's 13 dollars and 8 cents. Everything worked, but at night the watch stopped at about 03:00, so I contacted AliExpress, they told me to return the watch and get my money. I think that simply at today’s prices, when in New York they ask for at least $10 for replacing a battery, repairing and repassing such watches makes no sense
