This is kind of a dumb question, but are those stock engines or are they allowed to use more powerful engines and/or modify the vehicle? Sorry, but I've just started to take interest in Rally and don't really know much about it. Thanks.

Look, FWD isn't anywhere near as good as RWD... as long as the track is dry. Just go watch a club race at your local race track on a rainy day. You'll have the privilege of watching 400 Honda Civics with fart cannons and silly stickers beat the shit out of BMW M3s and purpose-built track cars. FWD cars understeer, which means that they're very very predictable. Which makes driving quickly in the wet a lot easier.

Poor emasculated cars. Please can we lift the rules on limiting their power outputs, and let's see REAL Gp B sounds and performance...

@MrCagivaman the race car was great the regular street stratos was not as great. since grunzaa made a general comment that didn't include racing i mentioned how a street stratos broke alot. the rally version was barely a lancia anyways bertone body ferrari engine swedish drivers. also this is youtube and sarcasm is abundant i blame top gear :)

So awesome to see these cars still being driven, especially considering the current state of the WRC it seems that they have gradually been downsizing cars to slow down the speeds, they went from group b to group a to wrc spec which was a modified group a then they went to super 2000 as the wrc cars and now the wrc cars are essentially super 1600 cars with turbochargers on them.
