I don't think Whitney realizes the impact she is making by sharing this. There are so many women in this modern crazy world that will hear this and feel heard in some way. Women today are more independent and focusing on their jobs so those women will be waiting til later to have a child. Also many millennial women have been through the ringer with financial crisis of 2008, covid, student loans etc. and are not financially stable enough to have a child, even with a partner. So many of us who are in their 30s are for sure thinking that maybe it just won't happen..having a child. But just hearing the minute details of her experience is helpful. And I'm sure we are all giving her a collective group hug because we get it. Aside from that tho...I was probably one of the many fans that was concerned by Whitney's weight loss, but I was also like, "uhhh guys wait a minute this weight loss is coinciding with her fertility journey, how can y'all not see that?!" So give her a break! For not only just the stress and money from a fertility journey, but to probably be having the thought that something is wrong with your body on top of that...of course you would form an unhealthy relationship with your body at that point. Either by overly taking care of it by eating healthy, so that maybe you could conceive..or by overly stressing and not giving your body enough nutrients, because the fertility journey is mentally and physically exhausting. People react to stress in different ways. While some might over eat, others might not eat enough. And for my friends who have lost people they love, I have seen them become a shell of themselves. Not only has Whitney lost her dad but she has been facing loss in her miscarriages. So her being skinnier right now is a normal response to what she has been through. And to defend Whitney even more, she said she doesn't like the texture of pasta guys so get off her back about the weight! Talking to you tabloids and trolls!! ...wow really aging myself by saying tabloids 😅 But anyway all this to say, thank you for sharing your journey Whitney. You continue to be a good role model to young women, and make an impact. That of course doesn't replace having a child in any way, but is something I tell myself because I am a childless woman in my 30s and a teacher. I may never have a child but I will have made an impact on the ones that I am teaching, the ones that come after me. You are obviously not alone in this, but you have been the brave one or dare I say the made one that is sharing her journey publicly, in nearly real time. And that matters and will make an impact far greater than you can see...Ugh I really could go on, the adderall has really kicked in 😆😅.... You are sharing things I didn't even know about, like the congenital uteran septum. Would have never known about that if you hadn't shared it with us. That took vulnerability, and understanding of the bigger picture to share that. The bigger picture being that if you share your own medical journey, someone might learn from your journey or feel less alone. And I hope you recognize that you are also sharing this journey in an era of our lawmakers making medical decisions for women, without even understanding our bodies and pregnancy fully. And that is major. I am not a parent and only speaking from my teaching experience, but.. Sonny will be okay. He will be okay not having siblings if that is what happens. Siblings are not all they're cracked up to be sometimes. Cousins are great to have around and friends become family as well. He will be okay, and he will be okay because when he is fully able to understand what his mom was going through, he won't be thinking about how he didn't have a sibling, but how brave and real and caring his mom was/is 💗
