Canonically this is way too slow.

Some of these scenes do benefit with a little more time to breath. At 0:51, for example, there should've been just a little more time before we saw the knife go from ricocheting off his stand and into his hat. 0:59 that scene should've lasted slightly longer. As well as 1:04. 1:07 the scene where DIO looks shocked should've also lasted slightly longer, as well as the timestop effect. 1:11 DIO needed to slide off of the blade slightly slower. 1:42 is comically fast. Slightly comedic, even. But that's not the intent of the scene, necessarily. It should be slower. 1:59 maybe focusing on the gun a little longer before it fired would've been better. 2:04 DIO staring at Jotaro here should've been slightly longer. As well of Jotaro staring back. In general, most of the following scenes are very rushed until 2:08, which is fairly good. 2:15 is almost really good, just needs slower in very specific shots, and not by a large margin. There's a reason that you need to give an animation some time to breathe. Though, the opposite extreme is also incorrect. Certain scenes need to be faster, and adding things like inner monologues and unnecessary still shots makes it feel slow. Normally, for a battle like this, you need some speed with a little extra attention paid to specific scenes.

I want to see a version of this where you keep in all of Pucci's speech he makes (when time isn't accelerating). It would make the speech so much more menacing and impactful if all this crazy shit was happening faster than you can comprehend, then he just stops to monologue about how he's bringing humanity everlasting happiness.

What I thought this was going to be when I saw the title was what a normal person watching this would see. No time stop. No thoughts. No stands. Possibly small bits of silence while they think.

basicly modren anime, which i think is better in some regards. Serously try watching Torny of power in dbz super or really anything from Z nowdays. Its all cut aways and repeated looped animation becouse budgets where tight.
