- David pro really tampered with Jotaro's time stops during Whitesnake's dream. They even completely cut one. This is the the 1st time stop of Part 6 but it's extended and made how it is in the original manga.
Credit to David Production for the scenes shown, to Hirohiko Araki for the original manga and story. Also to TVthePunisher and ResourceMuseum, who have provided the soundtracks playing in the video, and League of Two Trolls, for the scene of Star Platinum pushing the bullet away.
You can watch the original episodes of Stone Ocean on Netflix right here:

Please enjoy! - Zábava
There is also a second time stop that was drastically changed in the Part 6 anime. Check it out here:

"I don't smoke." Damn, fatherhood really cleaned up his act, huh?
not anymore i guess lol
She was around 4 to 5 in part 4 and he didnt smoke then so probably
Meanwhile in Part 3: *underaged smoking intensifies*
@@UserMatt21Was he really ever actively smoking or just did it if he had to.
That’s really sweet to think about. He wanted to be a good example for Jolyne
0:23 I like how this is rather a realistic reaction and act to the situation, and not like an 8 second build up to actually stop the time.
yea I hate the slow build up the fast time stop feels better, like KC when he skips time it fast,
Sutar Purachina, Za Warudo! (goofy SP pose) Toki wo Tomare! **time finally stops*

Finally, Time Stop that doesn't feel like a wind-up attack like it does in the fighting games...
It’s only like that in the games because it would be incredibly broken otherwise.
@@blazethegame that's pretty narrow. The problem is, in fact, imbalance, but you can't blame that on the nature the ability has in the original work -- because somehow, the fights in the actual JJBA story are still intriguing and not "broken" -- because in the actual story, lots of environmental and situational elements are at play, *elements that the game in question fails to implement.*
But if you just want to make a relatively grounded generic fighting game, *you can, just pick the right characters.* The selection that Heritage For The Future has is very fair in this regard.
The games are doing the story a disservice, not the other way around.
@@normalhumanperson8858 The game of course “fails to implement it” because it isn’t constrained to story beats. The game isn’t canon and it lacks a real story. So there of course is no way that it would be able to implement the ways the story works. Plus, in a fighting game you have to be able to *play* it. If the outcome of every fight was scripted to be lore accurate then it wouldn’t hardly be a game now would it?
My point is that you don’t go to the games as a replacement for the story, you go to the game because it’s a fun and interactive medium to experience “being the character” so to speak. It’s just a new way to enjoy a franchise you already enjoy.
@@blazethegame there are many conceivable character-specific mechanics that can be implemented in a fighting game that would make the game "lore-accurate" while also improving gameplay experience. The game can be as non-canon as it wants due to the impossible combinations of character encounters, but still keep the character's unique movesets by virtue of unique interactions between the characters in unique environmental conditions based on the characters at play -- the lore-wise imbalanced matchups can be balanced by adding unique mechanics that don't break immersion, not by just making every single character have nearly the same power level gameplay-wise, as it makes no sense why Speedwagon can just go toe-to-toe with Jotaro on a leveled flat playing field and have even a chance of victory.
You say that you go to the game to experience "being the character", how does what I speak of not improve that?
@@blazethegame all 2 seconds are wasted on time stop
It's actually great to see Jotaro praising Jolyne for her speed feat. Another extremely interesting video! Good job!
Man I wished they didn’t change this scene this is a lot better imo
0:35 I like how you used the whole different colour palette thing they do a lot with
I love the fan art that is used as the thumbnail
"I don't smoke" yeah ok
Jotaro could just hold Jolyne at that moment so that she doesn't fly away
From what I remember, he actually does in the manga, but it would be difficult for this CZcamsr to just reanimate the entire scene to make it so he actually catches Jolyne as she flies backwards.
Nice video
"I don't smoke"
Say that to part 3 jotaro
I’d like to see more of this pls
if you actually count time when he moves the timestop is 5 second
i wish it were like that on the anime
The anime seems strangly fast paced
Yeah they fucked it all up
This is edited
Made in Heaven
This doesn't really add anything to the plot but why did the anime cut this out?
Probably due to the length of the episode
It kind of adds some characterization to Jotaro. In the anime he seemed pretty cold in this scene, where he just kinda looked at Jolyne without doing anything and then let her fall over.
well animes never really adapt 1:1 i guess? i really can't find any good reason to cut some cool character building out
Wokeness of Netflix I think. They cut Daddy saving daughter moment and showed it as if he is an asshole and Jolyne needed no help in deflecting bullets, even sniper ones.

0:42 BRO HIS HAND 💀
Then again idk how to animate so I can't rlly say shit.
Pretty sure that was from the manga (the hand was, he just animated it)
Oh lol
Jolyne looks so cute in the timestop parts xd,wait whats that sound * Jotaro theme on the distand *
Oh im dead ,bye

0:22 this is a nitpick on David Animation but it feels like the timestop effect is way to early compared to the animation. Like the animation would have been perfect if time stopped right as Star Platinum brings its fists down, but instead it happens a half second before??? Why????
It happens right when the actual ability comes out of star platinums head gem thingy
Very nice, i see what you redrawed animation from part 4. Btw, Jotaro got nerfed af, and i think part 6 was ended on this episode, if he doesn't nerfed, big F for Jotaro
Cry harder, fanboy!
@@rimsky7590 Why do i?
To be fair Jotaro was getting pretty up their in age obviously as he grew older he would be nerfed
Bro jotaro was never nerfed what the hell you talking about?
Jotaro's physical feats never degraded. The only time when star platinum ever got a debuff was with his time stop in part 4.
0:17 bro just lied
Jotaro part 3: Are teeth stronger than diamond? ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA Are teeth stronger than diamond? ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA
Jotaro part 6 : A flying rag? *pew* oh no, they shot at me, but I CAN'T CATCH A BULLET, NO ONE CAN. EVEN IN A TIME STOP OR TIME SKIP. I staggered, grunted, and died.
Cringe
@@rimsky7590 ye
the fact you made jotaro repeat the line in part 3 was hilarious, idk why 😂😂😂
