Jotaro only had 5 seconds to comprehend the situation and make a choice. And he decided to save his daughter.
And he should have let his daughter die and instead go and smash Puccis head..... No matter how fast Pucci is but Jotaro had the ability to stop the time that means he can even stop the light traveling at its speed but yes Jotaro missed Pucci hit
He had way less than 5 seconds since time was sped up a lot. He likely had less than ½ a second

This shows why Jotaro wouldn't be able to stop time again after missing Pucci, because he was still in Cooldown by the time he was killed
Even if Jotaro's cooldown is 7-10 seconds that's basically an eternity versus Made In Heaven.

In the beginning of the manga of Stone Ocean, when Jolyne and Jotaro are in the visitor room; it shows Jotaro struggling to know when to stop time. This video shows just how fucking difficult it would've been for him to stop time at the right moment.
Especially to try and catch someone who is moving at near light speed. Lol

‘Talking’ and ‘thinking’ is a free action in Jojo. This video is accurate to how the characters themselves experienced it, we the audience get to hear inner thoughts so we can know where their heads are and understand the fights better

@@kujojotarostandoceanman2641 Agreed; I view any long shots of characters such as Pucci or Jotaro during time stops as purely for the viewer's pleasure, and internal dialogue is said at the speed of thought, which is close to immediate and so doesn't take up any "real" time. And considering how fast thought is for the average Joe, JoJo characters with higher-than-normal intelligence would have near-immediate thought speeds.
So, Jotaro's half-second time stop at the beginning of Stone Ocean, when he realised that there were two enemies, understanding that he was the true target and pushing Jolyne out of the way of the bullets, took up half a second in real time despite the lengthy dialogue because it was all internal, and his "Their target was me all along! Time will move again, Jolyne!" spoken dialogue was purely for the viewer's pleasure.
Its still odd that when pucci was dodging the bullets, he didn't just dodge one way and thats it, no, he had to go one step further and go left and right constantly

i also find it weird in that, bullets are non-living things, so they should be affected by the time acceleration, no? point is even proven by how, iirc, emporio said that a car would be moving even faster in the time accel. so if pucci perceives things as if they were normal due to him also being affected by the TA, how did he dodge the bullets so easily?
He was looking directly at Emporio's fingers and the muzzle's trajectory to "pre-dodge" the vastly accelerated bullets before they were fired. And he assumed that Empororio was the last one standing at that point, so he could afford to toy with him a bit since he killed the rest of his enemies. Classic jojo antagonist mistake. Jolyne's knive hit him because he was distracted.

Jotaro not realising it was Stone Free arm that went through Annasui and getting surprised by it now makes a lot more sense considering how little time 5 seconds actually are.
That, and colors do not exists much in a suspended time as no light emits in time stop
A lot of people reading the manga and even seeing it happen when it finally got animated wondered why Jotaro didn't do something like use Star Finger. Seeing this moment in real time made me realize how realistic it was for him to panickedly shove Jolyne out of the way of the knives

"this is much better, it makes MiH scarier" what you fail to realize is how this would be too fast that everyone would be confused, jojo fights are confusing already, let alone making it time-accurate for new watchers. Its the same as avdol's death where he instantly died, everyone was just confused on what happened. And some other instances throughout the show. Nonetheless its interesting to see the actual timing it was supposed to have, great video.

imo, they can make MiH confusingly fast in one or two scenes for the viewers to be able to understand from Jotaro and group’s perspective. King Crimson effecting Giorno’s group while Bruno was fighting the boss or the time near the colosseum for example, we can feel that something terrible is happening or already happened or even The World seemingly teleporting like in the OVA.

People say that jotaro would've won if Jolyne wasn't there, he wouldn't have, pucci outsmarted jotaro twice in that battle and easily beat the whole squad except for emporio, he was too op at that point with MIH.
