Silgadi is filled with chappri riders & drivers who want to ride in top speed irrespective of the traffic conditions. Most of the middle aged men on 2 wheelers, who don't wear helmets and their head is either focussed/tilted either towards the left or right of the road except the road. Wonder what they are searching for. The TOTO drivers think they are in some videogame mode & make sudden turns & drifts on the road(with no indicators) To add cheery to the cake cattle everywhere on the road. Lack of footpath makes it very hard for the pedistrians. Also half of the road is used either for parking or by street vendors. Only half of the road is useable. Safety is the biggest concern for a handful of drivers & riders who want to obey the traffic rules on the road. Not sure how will this ever get fixed. Feels like roads in silgadi must be featured in GTA😮

In many govt jobs(eg. Nursing jobs) they are making proficiency in bengali language compulsory during interviews. This is the ridiculous level of imposition of bengali langauage and a clear blocker for non-bengali speaking population to get these jobs. Bengal is not just bengali speaking pockets. What is the need for bengali being compulsary for vacancies in north bengal. We need a new state carved out of North Bengal.

Sikkim's politics is ugly. They only serve those who give vote and support and praise the ruling party.
