USMLE: The NBME and UWSA order - When to take each practice test
With so many NBMEs out for Step 1, finding the correct order can be very confusing. However, whilst preparing for your USMLE, an acceptable NBME order is crucial for your preparation. Although there is no set order in which one must write their NBMEs, after asking many people and doing my research, I've created an order that may assist you in your preparation for USMLE Step 1. If you have any order that you think may help, or would like to provide any input, please leave it in the comment section down below. Thank you!
Disclaimer: NBME 13, 15, 16, 17 and 19 are no longer on the nbme website. You may need to find the offline versions and correlate the number of incorrects with reddit forums to find your score!

Which are the chapters of General Pathology? the firs 4 chapters of pathoma?
dr. charllatan 🤢🤢HOW MUCH UWORLD PAID🤑 YOU FOR YOUR INFOMERCIAL🥵🥶
Feeling so defeated:(i studied hard all week, stayed up until 4 am. Woke up at 7 and worked until 4. Created a practice test with. Did it. Checked my answers. Went back and analyzed what i did wrong. All for Step 1:(i think that i was just so tired by the end of it all that i just wanted to be done. I'm hopeful that i can bounce back but right now I just feel like crying 😢 😭💔💔🤕😓😔💔💔😓
I feel your frustration. The feeling of failing after putting in hours of work is heartbreaking. I go for step 1 2nd attempt next week. I'm scared as hell. But i will not let this test win. I know i am capable 😌 💯 🙂
Frustration is a very positive sign. It means that the solution to your problem is within range, but what you're currently doing isn't working, and you need to change your approach in order to achieve your goal.
People keep talking about Richard all over CZcams, he must be a very awesome help.
@Yes you're correct but remember heaven helps those who help themselves, try studying if you can't study then get yourself a good help.
I studied for months and couldn't pass, i guess passing is a blessing.
Very informative video👌👌 All the best
Very good advice. I've seen so many videos but this one is the best so far. Will be waiting for more such detailed advice.
Does second pass mean doing uworld again from the start?
I would like to know how he helped you please, I just failed on my second attempt.
I just failed the USMLE exam. 😔🥺 I cannot begin to articulate the level of embarrassment and heartache I'm feeling. This is so heartbreaking 💔
Just say "I haven't passed yet." Don't take it as a failure but see it as a learning opportunity. There is a lot of power in "Yet", you are telling yourself that you will get there and that your eyes and heart are still fixed on your goal.
Well! Mann I've taken the Step 1 for the second time now and still didn't succeed, I wonder how those who succeeded did it
You will pass I believe everyone has their season, just keep going pray, and believe you will receive
I failed 3 times, and I lost money to reviews that never helped but the major thing is that I've not lost hope
I took the step 1 last month. I'm very disappointed, the exam is not even close to the practice material that the prep book sells online. The level of difficulty is like 5x or 6x.
I have my final exam now and I am planning to give my step 1 in June 2024 I have done my uw 75% and haven't give any Nmbs and also some topic in micro and pharma repro Endo and neurology are left which I haven't done very well I did them one time but still not perfect so What should I do with NBMEs and with revision and all
Too good i exactly needed to hear this thanku so much
Great vid! Just on the side note, I don't think you can eliminate GERD just by those 2 info. GERD is a disease that can definitely be confused with cardiac-related symptoms and can also occur early in age. Have seen plenty of them in the hospital too.
WTh is a USMLE residency. Change that title. It doesn’t make sense.
does step 3 help in matching
What if my school is not in the world directory?

Great content
This is very helpful ❤
It's very helpful tour video and i will try to do 2 Blocks of Uworld per dans and i'll try to learn more concept before starting uworld.thank you Dr Challa.
Hello Dr Challa, could you tell how can i find out the uworld????
So you during the first round do you do ALL the questions in Uworld in its entirety and annotate? So at 80q's per day, that should take 4 weeks... for each round...if there is around 3200 questions. When annotating do you write down all the things you didn't know in the explanation or just focus on what you got wrong? and then for the 2nd round you completely avoid any annotation but make flashcards...did i understand that correctly? Can I apply this strategy for step 2?
i got it wrong everytime i followed my gut
Want help regarding anatomy is there anything short and easy to go through

So unbelievably helpful. Coming back here to say thank you now as a matched applicant. Passing along this free guide that I stumbled upon and was so helpful.
For the people that are doing this over a year, because they’re foundational knowledge is weak after being out of school for so long, how many hours a day do you think is necessary to do this effectively?
Very helpful, thank you
