Important points:
1) 1st round of UWORLD by system as an active learning tool
2) USMLE 1st aid whole reading
3) 2ed round of UWORLD by random + Flash cards of your weak topics.
Very important:
Do 2 Blocks of UWORLD everyday even when you are not feeling like doing it.
Should I do 2 blocks while on my 1st round ?
Is doing 2 blocks even effective? In the end, you forget everything if you don't remember
should i choose subject related to system? so when i finish for example anatomy from renal system shoul i solve questions on uworld only about anatomy? or i should finish the whole system then start solving questions including more than one subject (anatomy physilogy pharmacology..)
@@razan97295finish the whole module firsthand!
how many questions have every block of Uworld?
This is easily one of the best videos on doing uworld i have ever watched. Zero fluff and straight up useful strategies
This is the best video I have seen so far as long as my usmle journey is concerned. I had so much worries on when to do flash cards, what to, improving test taking strategies, worried about my scores in the first pass, everything has been clearly explained. Thank Dr. Challa.
After talking so much about question strategy, you've finally explained how to do it! Great info
Great Video!! I've been waiting for your new video! And you didnt disappoint. So much info and well organized. Thank youuu
I found your channel two days ago but I've seen that's very useful. Thanks for taking your time to share this with us!!
Amazing!! You break down everything so well and deliver it in such a simple way. You're such an inspiration. Thank youuuu
the only usmle guidelines channel i follow !!
Extremely helpful video !! I'm currently doing my second round of uworld, but I was confused regarding whether I should read first aid cover to cover again since I don't remember all of the information, but your video gave me clarity that I should be focussing on my question strategy more at this point. I find the method of elimination so amazing as well. I wasted so much time during my first pass making flashcards which I didn't even get the time to review, your advice regarding making flashcards only during the second pass is golden !! wish I had your videos earlier in my prep, but we have these now :D Thanks a lot for the effort !!
Dear what he and you mean by 1st and 2nd rounds. can you please explain it to me? please correct me if i am wrong. by the first round you mean for example if i am preparing myself for nursing exam. And in nursing UWORLD question bank we have 2200 questions. so in the first round we should read only the questions along with options and rationales? and clear the concept. then in the second round we should only solve the question without looking the rationales? @warran Biden @ Dr challa
Thank you for all your advisory notes, Dr. Challa. Your videos are exceptionally well designed, readily applicable, and very relevant.
Thank you for the compliment! Truly appreciate it 😊

Thanks for the question strategy 💯

Excellent information on this video. I have a question, do you recommend to do Amboss qbank before using U World?
Thank you so much for the video! It was super helpful :)
Thankyou very much that was very helpful! really needed this video :)
Finally little waiting is over 🙌🏼 Thanks for the new video its really reaally helpful. How would you incorporate another qbank into the strategy? Ive heard that the more questions you practice, the better your score is going to be
Thank you for the tips!!

Dr.Challa Thank you so much. I request you to make videos on how to use Anki cards. Or how to make them. Thanks. Best of luck
Great, crisp explanation 👍
WOW, thank you doctor!
Thanks for the help! Can you advise on how to review properly? I feel like i'm spending way too much time. Do you keep a question journal? Anki? etc
Thank you for this video! Really helpful :-)

great video....plz make video on how to make n use flash cards...hope this video to be out soon 🙏🙏
Thank you for the info 😊😊
I messed up by doing a lazy offline round of uworld.
Also, can we get some step 2 CK videos? Your method of teaching is very comfortable
Excellent strategies!
@dr.Challa, what time should someone give between the first and second round? Or how does someone know they are ready to cruise to second round? I have done offline UWorld qns like two rounds so afraid to get lazy on third round but coz it has taken sometime I feel I forgot some small concepts so need to redo first aid. Thank you.
Very helpful video💯💯
When you said FA reading after 1st round of uworld is optional, I wanted to know how much time did it take to do one reading? I will finish my first round by mid-october and I’m planning to give step 1 in december end or else in Jan. i might even postpone it to p/f but I don’t wanna give up my december end option. So considering the time restraint, would it be wise to sit and do a whole reading of FA?
Hi Dr. Challa
Thank you so much for all the videos on usmle!
I'm a first year mbbs student in India and I would be in the first batch to graduate from my college.. The college ( govt.)isn't mentioned in the world directory of medical schools.. Will it be mentioned in the future and will it have any affect on my eligibility for usmle? Also, what are the pros and cons of usmle rx
Thank you so much.
what do you think about using the Kaplan books and videos instead of First Aid?
Hi Dr. Challa,
Thank you so much for all of your videos, I have a question regarding UWORLD
I just started my first run and I feel a little bit confused about what am I supposed to understand, memorize and note?
I feel overwhelmed with all the information and I'm not sure what am I supposed to do while in a tutor mood?
Should I just be understanding the concept of the question? should I be memorizing it too?
Should I note everything in the uworld notebook?
Thank you so much!
What resource should i use to study USMLE on the first day of medical school?
When you say you recommend to do 2 blocks a day, is it 2 blocks of 40 Q's each or 20 Q's each?
you're the besttt!
When do you suggest starting/completing the first pass vs. the second pass?
This is amazing 👍
MAKE A VIDEO ON IMG FRIENDLY RESIDENCY
hello.. can u plz tell regardng the scoring system? Is there negative marking system present in usmle steps??
Amazing!
Thanks man
so is the first pass of Uworld before the scheduled dedicated period? because in your previous video about dedicated study scheduling you say to do uworld timed + Random.
Great content
hello Dr.Challa ....can you please help me a quick question....for over using pencil....or climbing....lead to--->de Quervain tendinopathy: abductor pollicus longus, extenor pollicis brevis are involved....can you please help me understand why, how...movement of abducting and extending the thumb...can be able to hold the pencil....because you extending ur thumb...
Great vid! Just on the side note, I don't think you can eliminate GERD just by those 2 info. GERD is a disease that can definitely be confused with cardiac-related symptoms and can also occur early in age. Have seen plenty of them in the hospital too.
Hey doc m afraid i adopted the lazy first pass and trying to catch up since then . I have 1500 qs left . U think now when i have gone through fa 2-3 times it will be sufficient? Or when my second pass finishes i should get another qbank? I have almost 2 months to my exam. Thanks
Good video!
Thank you so much
great vid!
3600 questions are terrific.
Please make a video for Step 2 CK and CS
Thank you!!
Please tell about the changes made, EK English writing orientation test
Thanks👍👍
Please advice me what I have to do for my mistakes
I have already finished the uworld but I didnt take note or add info in the first aid
I thought in the second round I have to do these.
now what I have to do?
thank you so much
i just felt like i should start preparing for usmle. So i started with physiology. I covered just the general physiology. Since i've prepladder subscription, i have gone through it and found much more helpful than kaplan lectures. So what am doing is , am going through costanza review book , also sembulingam. Is that enough ? For pgysio..and considering you world, when should i start using? Since i havent covered all the topics. Is there question bank for free or site, where i can practice alongside with my starting phase of prep
Great video 👍 . Love the editing and startegy
Haha . I agree 💯
The strategy that you recommend in your video is opposite to Dr. Challa
@@alviodominguez5409 i meant the other strategies like elimination and question dissection. i still do think that 1 pass of uworld is enough 1

@@DipendraBrahma I would recommend USMLRRx. This is paid , but it's the best after Uworld
Can you please make a video on step 2
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS INFORMATION, It was super helpful for me and definitely for alot of people preparing for USMLE step 1. Sir I have a question, Should I do other blanks or rather just do uworld better? I mean multiple rounds of Uworld or multiple Qbanks?
The best strategy is to start with another Qbank which is more NBME styled and then graduate to uworld.
How long does it take to finish if I did 2 blocks each and every day?
please make a video about visa requirements for usmle
Sir do post a sample study schedule for the first year students who are Willing to prepare USMLE
Great video.. thank u for all the tips. Really helpful.
I’m opting uworld offline, which year should I choose as there are so many qbanks of every year
Sir one doubt Is true that getting lot of sata questions during exm is the symbol that we are doing well in exm?
Hi Dr Challa
I m doing u world Ist round system wise.
Should I do wrong questions again before doing u world 2nd round?
Thank you.
Bro i am studying 2nd yr mbbs tell me how to study and schedule for the preparation for usmle
Nice
I am old img preparing for usmle . Do I have any scope .
Can this strategy also applies to step 2 ck?
Hello Dr Challa, could you tell how can i find out the uworld????
