The link between console and pipe organ ( control stops, manuals and pedals ) use binary units( 0 and 1 ), and the console have probably MIDI interface. Piano Sound and B3 Tone Wheel organ, are sampled on a MIDI expander trigged by console
I have listened to countless renditions of this song, trying to find just one that could hold a candle to the perfect performance delivered by Kathleen Battle and James Levine. I have finally found it! (Kiss-kiss-kiss! Thank you! Brava, bravo!)

I just ran across this video just scanning utube, this is prob 10 years after it's performance if I'm correct on reading the year of the performance, but this is so inspiring to hear these skilled Alstons at their crafts playing this timeless peice of GOD given music at such a height in praise to GOD, & written by a liviving Legend music figure of our time himself, Richard Smallwood. A perfect peice. Our culture is graced with so many great, seasoned, skilled & anointed musicians.
