- In a recital on April 16, 2011 at the Sligo SDA Church, Patrick Alston, on the Rodger's organ was joined by his brother James, on the Steinway. Enjoy this rendition of Richard Smallwood's "Total Praise."
I wish I had two cameras available to show both at the same time in a split screen or something.
I just ran across this video just scanning utube, this is prob 10 years after it's performance if I'm correct on reading the year of the performance, but this is so inspiring to hear these skilled Alstons at their crafts playing this timeless peice of GOD given music at such a height in praise to GOD, & written by a liviving Legend music figure of our time himself, Richard Smallwood. A perfect peice. Our culture is graced with so many great, seasoned, skilled & anointed musicians. I trust the wonderful & talented younger generation of musicians appreciate the high level of musicality in videos such as this one & many others out there.

In a response to wadeh2, Look this is my personal camcorder. I share because I love the music. This is not a professional job. Maybe when I win the lotto I can upgrade to a professional camera!

@@mofie2000 So sorry this concert was not recorded. It was a recital for church's music club, to highlight/showcase what the instrument could do and Patrick brought his brother J.D. along as a bonus. What an afternoon we enjoyed!

Does anyone know the name of the song played before total praise?
I’m not sure, but I think I heard that first part being sung on a recording that I have, so it might be a verse to the song. In the hymnals that I have, it only has the familiar part. It might be an improvisation, or a introduction, before the song begins.
