Do you love languages? We learn and have fun with languages here.
My name is Norbert Wierzbicki and I'm a Polish teacher and language content creator.
I'm an advocate for a Multilingual World. I want my channel to be a place where people of the World can meet, discuss languages and make friends. Let's focus on what connects us (love for languages most likely 🤠) and not what divides us. ✅
You're welcome to participate in our discussions but please remember that the following will not be tolerated:
1. Offensive or violent language.❌
2. Hateful or discriminatory comments regarding race, ethnicity, religion, gender, disability, sexual orientation, or political beliefs.❌
3. Spreading negativity and bullying others.❌
If you're not able to follow the above guidelines, do not participate in the discussion! I delete hateful and triggering comments and I mute their authors from the channel.
Enjoy the content! 🤓

Eu entendo bem o espanhol mas o italiano é um pouco mais complicado, estive na Itália e entendia muito pouco os italianos, eles falam muito rápido, já na Espanha é mais fácil do que o português de Portugal. Francês eu já não entendo nada...
What a trip lol. So cool to hear it.

Old english ? I mean english comes from German
As a Croat I expected to somewhat understand Ukrainian, and maybe a little of Bulgarian, but whenever I think of Polish I'm giving up immediately. Turns out I could understand Polish girl the best of all 3, I think they usually talk too fast that's why I never could understand them until now.
As a native Afrikaans speaker, I find the sentences very easy to understand. Dutch very close to Afrikaans.
I'm improving my scots gaelic every day and it's interesting how much of each irish and Welsh I'm able to pick up
The guy with the red shirt keeps mentioning things in supposed Frisian. I'm from Friesland (NL) myself, but what he was saying sounds more like Danish to me than the Frisian I know. Is it from the Frisian part of Germany or something?
super intéressant, merci à tous
These are teachers and here im at home understanding most of it in written form. Im danish
For lithuanians its easier to understand polish or russian language than latvian.
Good job Norbert
18:28 ita! "lacrau" ou "alacrau" em pt.
Eu falo um poco de portugues…I don’t know what bruh talkin bout lol

Hear how they massacred my boy....
I'm Serbian and I got it right because of the word hraneste which is of slavic origin
“Zip” in Afrikaans is ritssluiter
Gaulish and Italic came from a common source. Similarities were there before Romanisation.
🇧🇷🇧🇷🧉
Never mind casa or domus, tectum , meaning "roof", is close to "teg", "teac", "tegim".
No
Me, an Italian one, I have correctly translated the Fourth sentence, cuz I listen to Wardruna 😂😂😂😂 27:31
As a German language learner, I can tell that Dutch is so close to German. No wonder I could guess almost everything right. But I must say that Dutch sounds like a badly pronounced German.
As someone whose first language is German, I thought the exact same thing. I could guess almost everything perfectly just by knowing German and English
Should spell it out for us instead of speaking it. I like to see the words.
Столяр скорее всего также немецкого происхождения, стол/стул
Ek het elke woort ge verstan ek is 'n afrikaans praater❤😏
Would have been handy to have an english translation
Makkelijk, maar lezen maakt het duidelijker. Bij horen is er een beetje twijfel bij sommige woorden.
Can you fucking understand it or not. Your talking and talking while each other stare in a straight face. What's happening here
Ustinas is so handsome and calm! Liûtas is a lion, not a wolf? It's weird. 😮
IM NORTH KOREA NATIVE..CANT UNDERSTAND A SHIET. HEIL KIM JONG UN
Los catalanes son Francos; hablan la Langue d’oc. Francés medieval.
The split between Brythonic and Gaelic is very far back in time, and, of course, it is almost impossible for their respective speakers to understand each other.
Fluent Welsh first language speaker here with Welsh and English 'O' level (GCSE). The Irish might as well be speaking Greek to me. They are as close as Swedish is to English.
Could fremde bleo mean/come from strange blue? So not just color in general but the color blue (the normal color of the sky). (Blau/blauw)
Butan = buiten in Dutch. Are there other languages with words for outside that close to butan?
Dnie
Im brazilian I understood everything she said. Cintura, cinturón…. In Portuguese is Cinto.
