2019 Vtec Challenge Brands Hatch Race 1
The Vtec challenge is a championship solely for Hondas split into 3 classes.
Class B 210bhp/ton, Class A 270bhp/ton or S class where anything goes.
Luke was entered in Class B and I was entered in Class A, both of us up against the two S class regulars who win on the road most of the time, one in an Supercharged/Sequential EP3 and another in a Turbo EK.
This weekend was mostly about having some fun for Luke and I, in a championship where we would both be able to enter our cars and run at the same time on track, so its nothing more than a drop in round for shits and giggles..........still doesn't mean I don't want to win though!
Oh, and 3 laps from the end, a slight miscalculation see's me shitting it and wondering if I'm even gonna make the chequered flag!

I don't think there was any gravel left in the runoff areas at Donington this weekend, most of it was used as ballistics and fired at me! So, I don't normally record quali, but everytime I dont, something awesome happens. So......I did, and there was more shit going down than in a race! Hey Ben, i am new to ur channel and i love the vids u make and its amazing to see u race and it has inspired me to leave the life of karting and go into big car racing🤝🏼 I would also like to know when u posting new videos
Hey Liam, thanks for joining and the kind words. I started in karting too and it's amazing, but I think you'll love being in a big heavy car where the frustrations are bugger and so is the reward of getting things just right 👍. I have some videos from the other year in the vault but just haven't find the time or motivation to edit them, I don't feel they're as exciting or interesting. Unfortunately racing has had to take back seat for me these last few years, work and family have taken priority and racing is a selfish endeavour, no matter how you look at it.
I could help with editing if u would like, tho I'm not the best at it and nor have I really done it the best, but I can try😁 I would like to help a youtuber who has me addicted to his videos and wanting me to take on the challenge of racing big cars and ur content is really great to watch and it has me watching them in depth to learn and have enough knowledge of how to race🤝🏼 It's chilled if u focusing on the more important factors of life and gave racing a bit of a pause❤ I have also gave my karting a pause for a year already as racing is needy in terms of money, and I'm taking a gap year so I have loads of time to take on a few projects here at home and if u need help with editing videos. Hope all goes well for u and ur family, work and all other struggles u facing, and hopefully by next year u can be back at racing as there is no rush for u, tho I might just finish all ur videos before next year😂 Thx for the videos and I'm glad I found ur channel🤝🏼❤

I learned to drive round Cadwell in the 80's when my dad used to run the practice days. Love seeing these races.

That's why I enter it tight rather than run a faster wider line that sharpens up the chicane entry. Tight entry, sacrifice a bit of speed round the long curve to get on the power early and hold the mog down the straight. 👌

Thanks man! Yea. I narrowed it down to testing a lsd friction modifier additive and the carbon synchros absorbed the additive and basically stopped working. So never use that shit 😂
