- Last year I had a CV joint failure in quali causing me to start last in race 1. This year I had a CV joint failure in race 1 causing me to start dead last in race 2!
Seriously, I've had these patterns all through my racing seasons at certain circuits and its hard not to get some form of superstition embedded in oneself.
So, cracking start, shitty finish, you're just gonna have to watch and see what happens in the middle!

Paddock etiquette goes out the window sometimes...yes they are often rammed, but there's no excuse for blocking someone in!
It's just a vicious circle....if everyone just stuck to what they were asked to do, then the plans would actually work. But it only takes one knob to take up 10 car spaces with his DIY private hospitality area to knock everyone else out of whack and into other areas they shouldn't be.

There isn't no, I did one but wasn't happy with it. I'll do another at some point before the car drastically changes for 2020.

What are you using for recording audio in your helmet? If it connects to your helmet which one are you using?
I use a stilo st4w, and I use the basic built in mic, but you need a plethora of filtering and recording equipment to get clear vocal. Then I edit in post production. Taken me about 3 years to get it as clear as it is, and it's not cheap, but worth it.

@@steveworrell noise cancelling mic, into a high and low pass filter, intercom, phono out to a linear pcm, set more high and low pass filters as the quality out of the previous equipment isn't amazing. Then set the keep an eye on the levels whilst racing, I've tried dynamic buy it tends to clip and pop as it tries to keep up with ambient sounds in the car.
Then I use the raw audio and edit it when I mix it with the video. Including the helmet, probably costs about £1200 plus vat.

Is your engine producing crazy power because it seem you can pull away from every other car on track?
Not really, in a dead straight drag race, the 2 other Hondas and 1 pug will put drag me. But, if I come off the corner with a few mph more then them, then it doesn't really matter.
It's a 100% bone stock k24/k20 Frank engine. I'm the only one in my class still running an all production based power plant. 259bhp and about 195lb.ft of torque.
They can all think what they want, I've been dynoed enough time in public not to have anything to hide..... Unlike other mass cheaters in my class.

The teg, a chevron B8, an mgb, maybe a mini, hopefully a tvr grantura and maybe a radical.
