My Samsung TV is crap, it needs 80€$ 1,5m cable at minimum to be able to run 4k 60hz from my RTX4090 and RTX3060, and I had to try 3 different similar cables all "High Speed V2.0 before I found 1 that worked... Problem it worked 1 year until I disconnected the cable and plugged it in again and now it will not run SRGB and full color anymore (only reduced dynamic range and compressed not SRGB anymore). And the cable I have is thick as a water hose, 1,5m long and did cost 90$ (the most expensive cable they had).

Beginning of July really terrible so far. I have similar results in June relative to previous.

Anyone here swapped out the 20 inch wheels for a set of 19s? If so, your thoughts?

Very interesting. I’ve just bought a 2019 i3S with 27,000 miles and expect/hope to drive this car until I give up driving completely! I’m 65 now. Sandy Munro raves about the quality of everything in the i3 and it was well ahead of its time. Always wanted one since its conception and now I share it with my wife who uses it daily. It’s costing £5 a week and I trickle charge it with no problems. Hardly ever use public charging but happy to do so when necessary and don’t care what it costs, it has to be profitable to incentivise the roll out. Thanks for sharing Geoff

Hello Daniel, I found this very useful as we have the same issue that our existing chime transformer isn't suitable - Towards the end of the video just after mentioning the possibility of putting in a socket for the 3 pin transformer that comes with the doorbell, you say "and just connect that up to the bell wires". Do you mean simply attach the forked connectors (on the 3 pin transformer cable) to the bell cables that would have gone into the transformer? We have a regular socket within reach of our chime box, so we could plug in the transformer that came with the doorbell and use the existing bell cables as an extension to that cable?

The only real interest to people is if reliability has been improved, which you haven't touched on. The old does have a flashing red LED too for contact, its just not as visible.

Hi Daniel. Excellent video. I'm looking for advice please. Have same model inbuilt Neff machine approx 12 yrs old. I live in Oz. My problem is that at switch on and switch off (after making a cup) the coffee dispensing pipes are not flused out with a little water like it always did. Aswell, I am noticing water in the waste coffee bin (instead of just slightly moist). Have run full calc'n'clean few times without any difference to my problem. Machine otherwise makes all different styles of coffee without any problems for both white and black coffee. I mostly use beans rather than ground coffeee. Because the flush is not happening, I believe this may cause somesort of back flow of water in to the waste bin. Any ideas greatly appreciated. Similar to UK, Neff Techs here take the macine back to workshop and charge so much.

hi im with bt and where on full fibre but we get really slow internet im currently getting for my downstream 13.096mbps and for my upstream it is 375kbps how do i get faster speeds because its a nightmare teyig to use netflix or gaming

Daniel, Great Video. Is there a setting in the eddi menu to stop it heating water the at a set temperature, say 60 degrees. I have my thermostat turned right down, but because it draws from the bottom of the tank the top is 90 degree while the bottom is say 35. Willis style immersion. Also can the PT1000 cable be extended? I need about a 15 meter run?

It’s about time bt and other be stopped from charging more when renewing, it’s not hard to do a port to a voip provider for the same 14 pound price of the phone , plus it can link to a mobile number forward as well , do that and safe a small fortune per month on contract plus no headaches when swapping provider at end just unplug the Ethernet to the grandstream and plug it in the new router simple no delay in number swapping , no monopoly making it harder to swap just port and go

Would anyone know what kind of transformer we could use without the buzzing issue? i have no idea how bad is the buzzing, but its not very good. i dont want to install this for 100 pounds and then have to replace it. i have thought of buying the Ringdoor bell transformer as i read that it had no issues working with reolink :(

Problem is it’s not 100 degrees boiling. That’s why you still need a kettle for a proper brew, or filling a pot for cooking.

It's worth noting that you can have Cosy for Import and Fixed outgoing for export. I just switched to this, so I now have 15p per kwh for exported PV (the peak rate PV never did so much for us as we generate most of our power before 4pm) and 8 hours of 11p import through the day. This means three periods in which I can top off my solar battery in deep winter. It's like having triple the battery capacity.

June 2024 Update: The current low rate in my area is now only 12.39 and dropping in July to 11.48p - so, much cheaper than the prices shown in the video. Octopus are also adding a 3rd charging period from 10pm - midnight. Cosy is a good rate in the winter if you have a battery when solar is poor as you can charge at cheap rates at predetermined times. For me, without solar, with a 9.5kWh battery and around 25kWh/day usage, it means virtually all my power is at the low rate. It's also much easier to manage than, say. Agile, as you can run your appliances during any of the 3 cheap rate periods

The original output was 12v or 24v? mine is 12V, i connected it directly to my original Kylink Door bell that was 12v, i seem to be having issues.

So in the future we will see the 30 million households in the Uk paying about £1000 per annum (£20 per eeek) for their broadband plus entertainment package plus their talk or telephone costs excluding those with mobile phone contracts….equates to about £30BILLION per annum!

I am hanging onto my copper line, once gone, gone forever. I have a freest box for entertainment. Broadband costs about £25+ p.m. whether it is FTTC or FTTP. then there is the entertainment package on top of that along with Talk….All for around £60 p.m….with call charges you are talking about £1000 per annum all in…..or £20 per week. What fun! Then there is the TV licence fee! All in all I could heat my flat for that. Seems that telephone etc costs far too much especially for a pensioner.

@daniel_coe I was just wondering how you are getting on with getting you're Imoprt working since the Smart meter was swapped, i have my meter swapped by Octopus last week and its still pointing at the old switch on there system, they are telling me 2 weeks but from what i see nothing seems to be happening. Import was swapped in hours but Import does seem to be taking much more time.

I have been sent two as the first one didn’t even come alive (no led) and the second one has an led but just will not connect, I can see it on my home network and led constantly tries to connect, I have tried absolutely everything, turned off the 5ghz network, moved the router and mini right next to the meter and it never connects, looking on the various websites it’s a common issue, so it’s gone back in the box as a second faulty unit and I will make do without it. Would be nice to get live data but I just wait for 24 hours to get it from octopus which all my PowerBi reports run off
