I'm just your average DIY guy fixing things around the house, the land, and on the cars. Since I enjoy learning on CZcams, and I enjoy sharing what I learn, I decided to start a channel. I'm not an expert on any of the topics I cover, but I'm not afraid to jump in and try stuff.
This channel is focused on home, land, and auto repairs, maintenance, and related product reviews.

leatherman charge has it too
derrr
Every leatherman owner would Know this, stipulated on the manual, not a hidden feature.
Leatherman 101
Very informative, however with the inclusion of the gut hook and the pocket clip it seems closer to the leatherman charge than the wave. I carry a wave+ at work and a charge TTI off work. (My wave gets super oily at work). Just checked and my Charge also has the wire crimper below the plier hinge.
Is that Gordon china made?
Yes it is.
Also both have a hidden lanyard loop.
Whoa! I did not know that! This is going on a short! Thanks!
conabear 101 will solve biggest problems
😂
Or just slightly loosen the screws.
Do you know if they use thread locker on those screws? I figured loosening them would cause a bigger problem over time by not keeping everything in place.
@@raiderdawgranch I don't think they do? Although I don't have a Gordon, can't get them here, I loosen and tighten my leatherman and knives to however I prefer them. Just loosen it a little bit to how you like it, then if the screw keeps getting looser, use some blue loctite on it. I wouldn't use red. Hope this helps! 👍🇦🇺
I found the bottle and can opener combination doesn't work on bottles.
I have 4 leathermans and use the bottle opener quite often, just takes time to figure out how to position it.
I can remember my dad using me when I was a kid because I could get where he could not😉
they have tops for the 17" griddles.
Add a drop or two of dish soap to break the surface tension of the vinegar.
They only live like 2 days so if you just clean you won't have to dispose of a nasty jar of liquid. Because you just won't catch em all. They'll breed faster than they suicide and if you remove their home, that eliminates most of them because they are all right there. Including the wormy stage. Vinegar in the sink at night is pretty good if they are living in the drain. Just my extra input. Used to waste a lot of vinegar.
My mom bought one kislux and she loves it. It had been there for over 10 years when she went out with it.
Could you tell me please! Does this also work on a cam. 2007? I’ve had it in the shop. The mechanics are my friend. So they are doing one piece at a time. I just need to know if this piece fits a 2007 Camry?
I’m not a mechanic, so I can only give my opinion. Our 2012 Sienna had the v6 engine that was also used in Camrys. If yours is a v6 I think it’s likely yes. You should be able to see the wires leading to the sensor
Don't genocide flies aimlessly they are important in opposite of most humans...
You get more flies with shit my ass. 😅
Which toys do this work on
You said it wouldn't stink but I think brown sugar stinks so really it would depend on your own person whether or not you think it stinks however I believe it would work
Hahah. Fair enough. The kits I buy from Home Depot (add water) smell like rotting dead, so that was my baseline. 😂
you need to put two drops of dish soap in it. It breaks the skin of the water so the fly sink to the bottom of drown.
I did this for fruit fly traps but I forgot about it here. Good tip!
@@raiderdawgranch 🤗
fuck man cool
The honey and brown sugar isn't necessary if you use a soda or juice bottle. Backwash is great fly bait.
I need to try this. I see a showdown video in the future!
Thanks man 🙏🏼
That little brass piece on your new regulator is an adapter , you could have removed it and used your original hoses
Very informative video. Good clone, but there's nothing like the USA made original Leatherman. I'd like to see a 6 month follow up on the clone. New subscriber here, keep these great videos coming !
Thanks for subscribing! Definitely want to show some after use videos
I can say the walmart multi force has held up for me for a few Years. It's not quite this cheap, but still pretty cheap relative to the leatherman.
Definitely paying a little for the name recognition in a leatherman, as with all category leaders
USA made? Portland Oregon is not a part of my USA.
Nice video. I was lucky to get my hands on this tool a few weeks ago ordering it online from HF. This is my 1st ever multi-tool. I too just have a office job (WFH) but I ended up using this tool so many times and loved it so much. I ended up placing another online HF order as a gift for my step-dad as none of my local stores have any in stock. Unfortunately as of late June 2024, this tool is backordered. So I am waiting for it to ship. On a side note... the website says this multi-tool has a 90 day warranty, but my online Harbor Freight order history says this tool has a lifetime warranty. I made sure to take a screenshot just in case.
Thanks for watching. I should have done more research on the warranty. I might have to add an edit. I too see some people reporting this tool is warrantied for life. That’s crazy!
Lifetime warranty that is until the company closes then opens up under a different name!
I wonder how you ordered an in store only item online.
@BOOGiNS they had online order available up until a few days ago. This is such a popular tool it's now on backorder.
Harbor Freight has an unusual warranty policy. I think that if you have an account with them, you get lifetime warranties. I recently bought a socket wrench set (office guy, not trades/heavy user) there and when I bought it the guy looked up my phone number and told me because i was in the system it would have a lifetime warranty. HF has been around a long time and frankly their stuff is getting less junky all the time, so I think they will be around a long while to come.
Thanks it works after changing A/C air flow sensor part cost $18
I'm trying to find a video to see how it folds up.... do you have another one that shows that?
Around 1:30 in the video I show the folding legs. Do u have other questions about that?
@@raiderdawgranch what I meant was the whole unit and how it stores away but I did find a different video that showed that. thanks :)
I have been thinking about getting this grill for a few months and have been frustrated with the lack of in depth reviews of these units on CZcams. This has been so helpful for me- thank you! May be picking up the pro series from Lowe’s in a few weeks!
Glad it was helpful!
Sounds logical, and it's simple. Great video
Glad it was helpful! A lot of people have trouble with this cocept of adding water to the foundation. For areas that get a lot of rainfall, you are always taught to get the water away from the foundation. This is the opposite effect. Too much water staying around the foundation will cause it's own issues.
Bro nobody asked if you bought it with your own money, just do the review.
Actually, nobody asked me anything any of it. You should know if a review is biased because the product was given to them.
Who does the wiring from the pole to your main electrical box?
Hired an electrician
@@raiderdawgranch gotcha I was wondering if the electric company did that. Thanks for the reply!
I just bought a brand new one and the ignition doesn’t work right it doesn’t light as soon as I turn it for some reason I have to try several times is there a fix for that??
I had the same problem. Remove the griddle so you can see the burners. Then trigger the igniters and make sure the arc isn’t grounding to another piece of metal. That’s what mine was going. So I just needed to bend some soft metals to allow the arc to go across the burner
@@raiderdawgranch I’ll try that thank you!
👍👍
What about if i try the magnet but still doing nothing, everything its brand nee
Also another question just cause I feel like you’re OK to help people is like I was cooking eggs and I see that you want it tilted to the back if I do that the eggs kinda start going towards that area so what would you recommend?
They make egg rings to solve this exact issue.
I just got it for Father’s Day as a early gift. It’s my first griddle ever I feel like it’s a lot of cleaning the legs on it are very un sturdy. I guess my question is can you just lay the griddle on a table where the rubbers are or it might burn the table.?
I haven’t personally done that but I’ve thought about it. It looks like you should be able to with the feet. However, it has to get pretty hot so I’d put it on stone or wood.
Is the knife uk legal?
What are UK requirements?
In the UK, carrying this knife would not be considered legal. This knife incorporates a "frame lock" design, and according to askthe.police.uk, any knife with a locking mechanism is not permitted. I am not a lawyer, but it appears that any folding knife (a knife that folds without a locking mechanism) with a blade under 7.62 cm (3 inches) should be legal to carry on your person.
Holy over reaching govt. They like people to lose fingers in the UK?
I have the 22" Blackstone without the stand but mine only came with the adapter for small camp size propane connector and not the one for the larger 20# tanks. Did I get shorted?
For this specific AC issue, if use the BlueDriver OBD scan tool you'll see DTC B1479 Flow sensor circuit.
Booyah Master Chief! Great light for security when your up da club!
This will work IF!!! the compressor clutch is spinning. If it doesn’t spin the problem could be the. AC pressure.switch / solenoid which can also be changed out but the Freon would have to be properly removed by a shop first. I think later models have a valve that shuts the system when the switch c h. / solenoid is removed. Toyota dealerships want to remove and replace the whole compressor for either issue and a Toyota does not sell just these parts. For how many Toyota AC systems hav3 issues, they should fix this at their cost. One other possibility if neither part fixes the problems is the expansion valve could need to be replaced. Hopefully the Freon just needs to be roped up a bit and doesn’t just leak back out after a fe2 weeks or months.
Prior to changing this sensor out it was working somewhat sometimes it would not work and I would do the magnet thing … and I could see the clutch engage and it would start working “ cooling “ so I bought the sensor changed the sensor out now the clutch won’t engage … it did for a bit than stopped working now the ac IS NOT WORKING FML 🤦♂️!
I think it just felt sorry for you and decided you had suffered long enough so it started running. I'm having the same problem. Hope mine has a heart as well.
I was going to buy the 17" Adventure tabletop griddle but was told that the lid for the Adventure 17" tabletop griddle is not hinged like the older 17" tabletop griddle model, and the 22" Adventure griddle in your video and, you that cannot use it when cooking. Is this correct?
I cannot find anything in the owners manual that says NOT to cook with the hood down. I’ve cooked with it down many times. It’s all steel so I don’t see the problem.
@@raiderdawgranch I can see that the 22" Adventure griddle has a hinged lid, but I don't know about the 17" Adventure griddle. I saw a video that showed it had a lid but it was not hinged which would make it difficult to use. Thank you!
Oh! I misunderstood your question. Thought u we’re asking about the 22”
Do you find the 22 inch surface is small? Crowded?
We have a family of 4 and I’ve never wanted for more space.
I got mine the other day and am loving it. We found one that had a damaged box so we only paid 100.00 for it. Once set up the legs seem solid, no wobbling.
Can you cook on this with that hood down? Covering it?
Yes. I cook with the cover down all the time
