on the cluster I am playing we are currently developing a plugin that does this - you can store your settings in that plugin and then load them when you join a server

Which one are You using ? I went through all 2k commands to build this.

@@realdodofrodo the only ones I've found so far are "r.GlobalIlluminationQuality #" and "Global Illumination Method #" I've tried both with 0-4 and seen no changes. On the Series S we don't have a video setting to just change it to Global Illumination Medium. XSS players have been completely unable to see the light beacons from drop for over 3 months now while we wait for an optimization patch. It's never been addressed by the devs on any forum. We can see the colored circle in the sky until the drop hits the ground but no beams. With r.globalilluminationquality 3 they illuminate the fog around them at night. Other than that we just have to estimate where it's going to fall from the circle in the sky then wander around and listen for the hum. It's a huge pain in the ass. It's seriously slowed progress on Scorched and Center (Island too for anyone that didn't start until it was on GamePass).

This is bad, we had that on pc too for some time

@@realdodofrodo about a month or so after launch they disappeared on Island, but that time they patched it after only about a week. Over 3 months now and not a single word from devs about the problem even existing. I'm hoping when we get the Unreal 5.4 update it's fixed, but that's still 1.5 mo away.

I personally think that unreal 5.4 is a bit overhyped because it is a minor patch maybe so improvements but mostly we will see bugfixes

I posted a video about that yesterday 🤣🦤 basically disabling fog, volumetric fog and bloom works pretty well.

Kind of a harsh way - for some people the game simply does not work if they do not use those commands because performance gets so bad. I wouldn't be able to play much pvp without them because everyone would just destroy me. But you can also use these commands to make your game look amazing.

🤣 or worse but it helps in PVP and I don't care about graphics. But these commands work in the other way too you can make your game look stunning using them and adapting the parameters.

But why ?

Had to decide between Giga and Carcha went for Giga and I honestly don't realy like the Rhynio even if it is a great pick for me both would be honorable mentions because they have great usage too but I think Giga beats Carcha and Wyvern beats Rhynio yet it was a top 10 and i had no space left for them xD

@@realdodofrodo your wyvern goes down with a couple of Fabby bullets right now and with the bug, you can pick up almost everyone from their dino and tank a lot with resin. The carcha is better because you can heal in between fights.

Yeah that's true that's what i show in the video, I don't say Rhynio is no great pick I just don't really like it. It is great tho for farming and pvp.

Yeah, that's my point of view too. Organic Poly can be used to overcome some shortage but especially with the Dunky hard poly is easier on Center.

Nah, just place more and stronger turrets build heavies and this does the trick for many scenarios not all but many. Bases are always individual.

Tough question, as of now I would say eating a ton of rare flowers hopping on a giga and then marching trough the swamp would me my first try. My second guess would be going into one of the caves with a pyromane in some caves there are ridiculous amounts of titanboas and pyromanes can easily kill them - could not say wich cave would be best as of now. But you could tell me which worked best if you try it! Hope this helps!

@@realdodofrodo thanks so much, I will test this out and see if its better on my eyes. There's so much metal, crystal, obsidian and pearls! With update to wild spawns it's not too bad tbh, just have a pack of sharks follow you and you'll be safe

Yeah raft killers can be a problem but honestly I have never seen one in that area and I am farming there for weeks now. I think that is nothing to be scared of right now and you can always have Xiphs on follow and aggressive I guess.

It is not everywhere and depending on the area it is kinda hard to see. I marked one area on the map. It is mainly in the centre of the dark area and on the top corner.

It is! Just drop the Anky down into the vulcano you don't need it anymore. :D Or give it an honorable place. The dunky is my favourite now! It became on of the best farmers overall.
