There aren't any discs with the 8. The seven did have them. The 8 has downloadable QR codes in instructional manual. You will download to computer or phone. Hope this helps.
Can this punch needle be used for signing quilts or hand made by info or is this not a good idea?
That is a creative idea! That would look really cool. I just don't know how the label would launder in the washing machine.
Haven't ever made a bag
Wonderful to see Dawn ❤
I remember being at market when the hook first came out. The company use to sell premade blankets with thread included to use with the hooks. Dawn thank you for bringing back a great memory for me. I will have to check out the pattern book and make some more baby blankets. Have a blessed day.
Thanks Debbie!
I don't watch all of your videos but this is by far my favorite. I love the young lady's personality and enthusiasm!! More videos with her please!!!
Thank you so much?
@@MIVan289 I totally agree lololol
Best video ever. Thank you so much I’ve learned so much watching you and I’ve been piecing for a few years now
Thank you so much!
You should label the samples with the maker's name. My 4th of July memory is when we were sitting on a beach towel and holding lit sparklers. The sparks actually caught the towel on 🔥! Not a great memory, but one I'll never forget.
Oh no!
My favorite was the vintage snowman panel with the blue fabric. I'd definitely make that if I liked to sew. 🧵
Thank you!
I’m working on cottage garden Oct 31. ❤
I have that pattern and I'm really excited to get started on it. What fabric did you choose to stitch it on?
Got some stitching done while listening to your fun info about all the new things. I am starting my stitching for the small Christmas ornaments I made for my 10 grandchildren! Christmas in July!
That is so cool!
Great video👍 another great 4th memory is watching fireworks on the water at Dale Hollow!
That is a pretty place!
I hope this is not too late😊 another great memory of the 4th is being out in the boat watching fireworks on Lake Monroe in Bloomington.
I bet that is a good fireworks display!
Misfit Toys Charlie-in-the-Box. Spotted Elephant. A train with square wheels on his caboose. A water pistol that squirts jelly. A boat that can't stay afloat. An airplane that can't fly. A sailboat. A pink fire truck. There are 6 more but can't think of the names.
That is really good! I am glad someone posted this!
It was nice to visit with both of you today. I am just finishing up the fourth season of Annie Beez Sheltering Trees Series with modifications and color changes that enabled me to use all kinds of different thread types. It was lots of fun once the basic tree, in each, was stitched and I'm very happy with the results.
That is so wonderful!
I made a kid’s book with a thin foam lining instead of batting so it could be taken into the tub.
That is a neat way of doing it.
Thank you so much for sharing - I am going to practice this joining method
You are so welcome!
Loved the very casual sit and chat, about stitching and everything else! I saw Julie in the latest "what's new" and I see the resemblance, Nancy. Thank you for sharing about Selah's Grace Ministries. ❤ I was curious about Peter's Log Cabin Christmas progress, too. Peter, you are skilled in everything, so I know you have many projects to show off, even if not cross stitch! Nancy, its fun seeing what stitching you're working on - I'm afraid im not much help in providing fabric suggestions. Even in a huge favric store, it seems the decision is difficult! Have a great rest of the week! See yall next time!
I am two log cabins behind in the series. I haven't been stitching much this summer. I do like to sit outside and stitch. The weather has been pretty humid lately. There is supposed to be a 105 degree heat index today. Driving to work today though the weather was so beautiful.
@@alwaysinstitches5388there are many opportunities for fun outdoor activities in most of North America during the summer. I could understand not having a lot of stitching time.
You guys are pumping out the videos! I'm glad you showed the adorable book panels. My mom made my oldest a couple of them. They're just the perfect thing for infants since most like to put everything into their mouths.
Yes, we are trying to get our shop out there and the separate videos allow viewers to see snippets of the shop without watching a longer video.
I am so glad AIS does these videos.i can't always get into the store, but I can stay informed.
We are happy that you are able to stay connected through the videos. Thank you for watching!
What would Rudolph do if he lost his tail???? He would go to a re-tail shop like "Always in Stitches" and buy a new one!!!!😅
That is absolutely the best. Thank you so much for sharing.
Charlie in the box!!!!
Thank you.
I looked it up in Santa's world book of knowledge!!! Yessss he has one, you know.. It says a reindeer can fly 5 horse power fast! In my sewin room watchin ya'll Still watchin
Well I was way off. I didn't take into consideration that it was Santa's Reindeer. 5 horsepower. Love it!
@alwaysinstitches5388 lolololol ya'll had me laughing and sew I had give some of my B.S. at the same time. I made that up, but maybe there should be a B.S. of Santas world. Lololol Anyways, FYI, B.S. stands for "Belief System" lololololololololol
🤗another great video!!
Thank you! 🤗
I do have another favorite. Fireworks are always a major part of the 4th. One of my favorite fireworks-viewing events was joining a bunch of friends at the downtown park and watching fireworks being shot from the then Indiana National Bank building roof. Spectacular. Everyone brought their kids and we had a great bonding time in addition to celebrating our country's independence. Loved it!
That would be a great show!
I am working on Lolly Claus by Sardine Street. It is my granddaughter's 2024 ornament from me. I stitch her an ornament every year
That is so sweet of you!
My favorite 4th of July memory is getting hot fudge sundaes before the fireworks started
Love love your video !!! Thank you for going soooo slow and explaining things !!! Also, thank you for not singing and playing music !!! Thank you for sharing and caring 🙏🏻😉👊👍🏿👏🏿💙💝🤎📺❤️😍😇🥰🍭🍓❣️
Thank you!
come on, is he for real? he cant be, can he? i know not everybody gets into music. i know that. i even accept that not everybody these days knows the beatles.....20 yrs ago, no, but these days, maybe....but to not understand basic band ettiqutte..? "why dont they call him the beatles?"? i just ....i dunno...and its not that hes pop culture illiderate, being a friends fan and all....i just cant wrap my head around it
I really enjoyed this video . The cross stitch is beautiful ,and a close up look of the Garden Moon needle book was much appreciated . I’m not doing any cross stitch now , just lap size quilts and punch needle .
Thank you! Lap quilts and punch needle are great projects to have. I should of said any needlework projects.
I don’t have any specific July 4 memories. I do love fireworks over the water.
I would have to agree fireworks over the fire are beautiful thing!
My favorite 4th of July memory was going to a small town near us that had an annual fireworks display. One year, one of the fireworks went off the path and landed in the middle of the rest of fireworks. The whole batch exploded in about one minute. It normally would have been about a 30 minute display. No one was hurt, thank God.
That would have been crazy to see happen.
My second favorite memory is going to a concert at Conner Prairie, having a picnic and listening to the 1812 Overture with fireworks to end it.
A firework display at Conner Prairie would be awesome to see especially with music like that.
Ha! My thorn is my side is a Bull Elk from the 1991 Cross My Heart Wilderness Wildlife book. Soooooooo many colors and almost full coverage.
Switching so many colors and keeping track of them all would be quite the challenge.
We did sparklers as a kid ))). Funny video
I remember sparkers as a kid too.
I am working on Little House Needleworks monochromatic summer and I love it! My first time working with Belle Soie silks and I LOVE IT!
Working with the silks is so enjoyable to use. I find that I stitch slower with silks because I enjoy watching them glide through as they reflect the light off the threads.
All the videos from AIS are so fun to watch. Maggie does a great job and Peter always adds a lot. I posted one of my favorite July 4th celebration in the fabric video. My second one would be the one in Hawaii . My husband was stationed there in the Army. The celebration was so patriotic it made me proud to be an American and gave me goose bumps
We are happy that you are enjoying the videos from Always In Stitches. That sounds so spectacular.
@alwaysinstitches5388 yes it was. It was 1976. The 200th Birthday of our country.
You two are so cute glad you found the prize. Your giggles are cute. Fourth of July memory is my husband and a friend were setting off fireworks on a pier at the lake one of the fireworks didn't go as planned and they both had to jump in the lake. A good lesson for the kids watching of what not to do but for the guys it was fun to see how quickly they moved. We talk about it every 4th of July.
Thank you so much. Oh no. That would have been a sight to see.
When I went to the fireworks with my husband for the first time. I seen things I didn’t know that you carried. You could spend the whole day and not see everything.
We even have things that I haven't seen and I watch all the What's New videos.
Question for Maggie … I’d love to make the doggie but don’t do crochet .. is there a pattern to stitch this cutie with fabric? That would make me oh-so-happy! 🧵
I think we carry a dog by funky friends. He would be adorable sewn in fabric.
🇱🇷 Hello Maggie … my favorite 4th of July memory is sharing the celebration with friends and family, watching fireworks from my front porch in Livermore, CA. The party ended with homemade peach pie made from a recipe from one of my favorite cousins. 🇱🇷
That is so special to enjoy homemade peach pie from a cousins recipe.
I’m working on my summer Quaker right now. I need to finish my blue rhapsody butterfly I’ve only got a page left to do. Enjoyed seeing your projects. The new kits look like lots of fun. I would love to do the valentines Quaker in that new thread you are giving away.
Summer Quaker rocks. I still haven't completed my Quaker. Wow you are about done with your butterfly stitch. I will have to snap a pic when you finish it for our floss tube.
My favorite 4th of July memory is watching fireworks over the lake while sitting on the porch of our rented cabin.
I'm stitching Christmas in July, working on WTNT "Santa Stops Here!"
Very nice! Nancy would like that one.
I love that Maggie hopped right to needing grandbabies for the heart quilt! Great variety of notions in the video. Lots of Christmas gift possibilities! Of course watching fireworks with my child was the best fun on the 4th! We only had to do it one year, then he never wanted to watch them again! 😂
I am working on Rosewood Manor Buckleberry Sampler
That is a pretty stitch!
My favorite July 4th memory is when my husband and I took our children back to visit family in Dubuque, IA. We went out on the Mississippi River in my uncle’s boat and watched the air show then after the air show was finished, the shot the fireworks off of the Lock and Dam over the river! The fireworks were beautiful and the reflection on the river was spectacular!
Air shows are so much fun!
Another favorite July 4th memory is spending the holiday in pigeon forge, tn and seeing their great fireworks display. Thanks for the tour of new & special items.
Our pleasure!
Im old, so the most recent one is the easiest to remember. Going to the zoo for the first time in 30 years and seeing it through the eyes of my 4 year old granddaughter. It was fun even in the pouring rain!😊
That is so sweet!
Great tour! I did not know what all was in there!
Glad it was helpful!
