Hi Nancy and Peter! March's block is so cute! They all are! Please tell Deborah she doesn't have to stress about getting my April kit to me.😂 I'm actually glad April's is very Easter-y, so I can spend more time on February and March, now that I've found this isn't as hard as my mental block made it to be. Thank you for the quilting tips, because I am neither a wooler or quilter, but after I complete this block I can say that I'm a true beginner! It's good to hear excitement about garden planting from others because I just can't get it right here. I planted lettuce one spring and it gets so hot here so quickly that it bolted after about two weeks. I've had a few tomatoes and peppers last awhile, but it's frustrating with the heat and humidity. And I agree about sunscreens, the crunchy crowd doesn't apply them - no chastisement from me. Happy Spring!

Same here with the lettuce. I love spinach. I have planted it for years. However it always bolts. I love planting tomatoes. I usually try to plant them as early as possible playing frost chicken. I usually loose though.

@@alwaysinstitches5388 so many ways to can tomatoes, make sauces, eat fresh, etc. so versatile. I like spinach, but again ... Too hot here. Okra, some beans, snap peas, and watermelon are what I know people always have success with. My carrots were even stunted.
