tensura is one of the few series that i religiously watch and read on repeat 😂 it's highly addictive for some reason that no matter how many times i go through watching or reading it, i don't feel easily bored. lmao

The reason Gege hates Gojo so much isn't necessarily because he hates him as a character, but because he hates *writing* him. I mean, if I had to write a serious story with a single character who was OP enough to basically one-shot everyone else, I'd have a pretty difficult time writing. Think about it: all of the conflicts in the first season were because Gojo was "away" for some reason or another, either because he was on business or there was an entire barrier dedicated to only keeping out Gojo (which didn't even last all that long). Then in the second season, Gojo was only imprisoned because of his emotional shock of seeing Kenjaku as Geto and trying to figure out what was going on. The Culling Games were epic because there was no Gojo to come and wipe the map, which is why Gege said 2020 was going to be such a good year since he didn't have to worry about figuring out how to keep Gojo away from the conflict. If I had to write a character like that, I'd be pretty annoyed at him too. But if he were to come back with some kind of nerf (and a personality that isn't just "the strongest"), that would change my opinion of him pretty drastically. I just hope Gege feels the same way.
