A build like that might be better in season 5 with some of the changes. ROA in general has a lot more potential next season but we'll see how it compares to other builds.

Having one weapon be caltrops duration is very important, since if you can keep a caltrops on them permanently you keep the full bonus. I chose a second weapon also with caltrops duration, but it isn't that necessary. I did test a bit with caltrops size for the other weapon, but I ended up preferring the second caltrops duration. I think the second choice between duration, size, and extra projectiles comes down to preference as the performance is similar.

Yes I ended up having to change 3 of the max life gems in the armor into emeralds for more dex, I needed a bit more dps to finish this tier. There were also a few very minor things, but it also took more attempts as there were only a few bosses which I could do in the time limit.

Hi, that's awesome that you're playing RF, I would recommend this build to push with instead of the starless. The starless is strong but it gets tough to keep up the stacks. The starless would be better on paper especially if you have greater CDR on shako or soundrels kiss, but not significantly better if you don't have those pieces. The build in this video does very well, you would just need high maximum life from paragon/gear since you wouldn't have an unstoppable.

@@klepter3865 thanks for the reply. I did end up trying this one and indeed the HP is crazy - and compensates for the lack of SS. Rotation seems the same as what i do (caltrops, dash/evade, and RF with 3 cmb). Except that you add shadow imb every now and then ? Thanks ! (Did 121 now with it so it did unblock me)

@@MaximeChamberland I'm glad the build is working for you! Ya it should allow roughly 1 higher tier than other rapid fire builds due to the extra damage from shadow imbue. I usually use shadow imbue while the mobs are unstoppable to prepare them for the next burst. I also use the shadow imbue right before the boss is about to be staggered, and just to keep up the 12% damage on the boss.

It does get annoying to play with sometimes, I currently changed build to stop using it. I'm planning on pushing with the starless again soon once I'm in the mood to keep the stacks up, because the build is still very strong.

@@klepter3865 Do you think it's clear potential is higher with the starless?

@@MrNCisBallin I actually do believe the clear potential would be higher with the starless. However for this clear potential you would need greater cooldown reduction on both the shako and scoundrels kiss. Having those would allow the build to clear roughly 1 full tier higher, due to having more cold imbues to use on the staggers. I don't have either of those pieces so for now I've gone back to a non-starless build, and it clears about the same as the starless.

I bet it would do well in a group. The only rapid fire build that might be able to do more dps is with the starless skies. I'm still working on that build though, trying to get more cooldown reduction for it.

Hello! The build has a ton of damage multipliers when the enemies are cc'd. I put the retribution aspect on the 2 hander, and that aspect gives the 60% increased damage twice if the enemy is both stunned and knocked down. Together with the damage to frozen from the build, the total damage multiplies by around 6x if the mob is crowd controlled by everything. The shadow imbue and dash add even more damage.

@@klepter3865 i have the same multipliers but i mostly do up to 40-ish , highest is 77 if staggered

@@CassiopeiaSantiago It might be due to the overall gear, I recently just put more dex into my items and rerolled the amulet for more frigid. It might just be due to that, and the 12% dmg from shadow imbuement.

@@CassiopeiaSantiago Do you have +6 weapon mastery, +3 frigid finesse ammy? Do you have a +6 rapid fire scoundrel's and gloves? Do you have tempers and master working crit damage adding up to 2000+%? If not, you know what you're missing.

Death trap pulls them in to make killing packs quicker. It also has a lower cooldown for more no witesses uptime.

i use the planner in the description and i hit 55k hp and i also have a shako with 1 masterwork in max life

@@jovix7 The paragon board just has a ton of max life in it. I was also using the quest elixir antivenin to get an additional 15% hp.

It adds the 50% damage multiplier, and also has a couple other things (the all resist means you free up a stat on an item, and the resource cost reduction frees up a couple skill points). The use of shadow imbuement isn't a synergy, it just negates the downside of using the ring and running out of imbuements.

It is hard to keep up the rotation the whole time haha. I just find the basic builds too boring to play

why not just run heartseeker with this , not the rapid fire

@@CassiopeiaSantiago Heartseeker is generally a bit better than rapid fire for every build due to the double dipping. I just don't like the playstyle of heartseeker / abusing the bugged victimize, and I find rapid fire to be a lot more fun.

The eyes in the dark is a good idea, I was thinking of equipping them actually to test it out. You can also run with shadow step instead of poison trap if you do want an unstoppable

Hey I might remember you from some of my old videos! Ya I didn't play diablo for a long time, I just got bored near the start of season 1, but I've been playing again recently and looking forward to trying new builds!

either +rapid fire or +attackspeed after dodge work well. It is important to get one with close to 25% explosion damage though, so if you can't find a good GA one you can use a non GA one with good rapid fire, attack speed, and explosion stats. I'm using a non-GA one here, I just reset the masterwork until it was +6 rapid.

I started to use poison trap after switching to double caltrops duration on the weapons. Since I don't have increased caltrops size the poison trap allows me to keep the enemies affected by traps when they are out of range of calrops. The poison trap also gives me attack speed and damage reduction from the skill passives next to deadly venom. Dash works well too, most rapid fire rogues have been using dash but they are also using caltrops size on weapons.

Ya Im pretty sure this boss has the most hp of all of them, can definitely get higher with this setup.

I just do things differently from other rogues. Almost a year ago I experimented with cold imbue for the frost archer build for pushing nightmare 100 before the first season when it was considered a meme, and now it's considered the normal build. Planning on doing more weird builds for experimentation now that there is an actual endgame again.

Yes, Everything besides the starless ring is 12/12. The ring's stats are low so I didn't MW it up all the way, I just use it for the 50% damage increase.

Would it be possible for you to add a speed farming variant and maybe a 50-100 variant to your max roll planner? Unless you use the same setup. Because I fancy rapid fire and I’ll use this for pushing but I’m currently 74 and would love a speed version for leveling because only doing tier 24s or so. Thank you mate, ❤
