Finally! A video worth watching. A video that isn't some washed out wanna be streamer posting a video of his "best build" saying it slaps as he's doing like a T25 NM.
I feel like cold and the cold uniques are being slept on. I keep wanting to use frostburns, but dont have the penitent greaves yet. However ive been making good headway with my flurry build , its soft capped by defense but for face rolling mid nm dungeons its good. Also , thinking of going this setup but using flurry and rapid fire with a buffed flurry being the main option. But i still think range will win out because kiting is the best defense. I saw your paragon board. Can you please explain why would you run diminish over ranger or infusion? Diminish glyph seems inferior compared to those two. I can't imagine running without infusion because of the cooldown reduction and dmg it brings towards your imbuement skills.
Well done.
Another thing to add to that build is the aspect that grenades can freeze dazed targets. Its added effect is X crit damage to frozen enemies and thats all you really use it for with frost burn and penitent shoes.
I've briefly tried using it, I might experiment with it more in the future.

Nice to see a build similar to mine doing high tier content. Im only a low lvl 63 and dont like all these meta builds everyone's running. Im using basically this build but have dash, caltrops and rain of arrows instead of poison, smoke and penetrating shot

I use forceful arrow to apply vulnerable when they are out of range of puncture vulnerable, as well as to build combo points from far range. This build is also good for farming T50s with but with a few changes, such as shadow imbuement instead of poison imbuement and shadowstep instead of concealment.
Holy shit congrats! If u were to take this build to like a tier 70-80, how much damage would you do? And would u prioritize less defense for more offense?
Ya thanks so happy about this run! For tier70-80 in terms of defense, the only thing I would change is changing one of the defensive attributes on the amulet for more movespeed. Other than that I would still go full defense as rogues are so squishy and mobs from those tiers still hit hard. This build would also be great in those tiers, as it could burst any mob in a freeze before they become unstoppable. This build does great burst damage during freezes but very little against unstoppable enemies.

Nice job! I see you have a lot of critical strike damage with imbued, even on your crossbow over regular critical strike damage. Is that intentional or does critical strike with imbued have an advantage over regular critical strike damage?
Thanks! Regular crit damage is always better, I just haven't found a better xbow yet. The critical strike to imbued stat on the rings should also be damage to vulnerable if the gear was perfect.

It looked like this run gave 202 xp for the glyphs. Probably not the most efficient for the amount of effort :D
It is traumatising to watch how hard T100 is - you played amazing. My cold/poison rapid fire build is very similar, except for flurry instead of forceful, and dash instead of concealment - but then my rogue is a measly L60 so not in the same league.
I'm glad you're also enjoying a similar build! I'm going to be experimenting more with other core skills before the season starts.
@@klepter3865 Good call, I might give barrage a go if I can get the damage high enough, wonder if it can replace both flurry and rapid and give me a free slot. I get why you have two basics - puncture is bloody fast but short ranged, and forceful gets things beyond the screen, but comes out like turtles in comparison. I guess at my level I am still relatively ok with them getting close and not getting one-shotted.

Thanks! Yes this specific build is made for t100. If I were focusing in T60s, I would use shadowstep instead of concealment, shadow imbuement instead of poison imbuement, and an aoe core skill such as penetrating shot or barrage instead of forceful arrow. I would still keep a lot of defense from gear in the T70s, as the mobs still hit hard in those tiers.

As for the aoe core skill, Rapid fire can be good for aoe with shadow imbue i dont think it would be optimal to have two cor skills. Dont you think? Maybe keep poison imbue and have 3 imbue? So RF-SS-Puncture-3x imbue?
@@Anzatoro Yes something like that could work as well, I'd still keep cold imbue to freeze enemies for burst. It would be better to run another pair of gloves instead of frostburn for those tiers to get more offensive stats and skillranks.

Hi, for 50-60 I would have a movespeed amulet, run shadow imbuement instead of poison, and use shadowstep/dash instead of concealment with the close quarters combat passive for more damage. I would also have less defensive stats on gear.

@@arezee Barrage would probably be a bit faster than RF for farming T50s. RF starts to get a lot better at T70+ as the other ranged builds don't have the same damage output.
Artillery and Conduit shrines have to be the most fun shrines in the game. Do you think if there was a more consistent way to know what shrines are in a dungeon that shrine duration builds could be possible?
Yes I think shrine duration could have great potential. Shrines could help out with the tough elites and bosses that would otherwise be almost impossible. Some dungeons might only be possible with some builds if there are the right shrine buffs in certain locations, and shrine duration could allow you to have the buff for the whole encounter, and to bring the shrine from a farther place in the dungeon.
The hardest part of that entire dungeon IMO is that mid room and he lucked out with the shrine. Maybe I’m just bad but I can’t get past that room in high tiers
what build do you use for lower NM dung for max dps, with not so many def aspects?

For lower NM I swap poison imbue for shadow, I swap conceal for shadowstep/dash and run close quarters combat passive for more damage. I would also use a movement speed amulet but I haven't found a good one yet.

T100 bosses would be tough! This build isn't made for bosses so you may have to make some changes right before the boss fight such as switching gear around or even tp'ing out to swap in emerald gems onto the weapons.

nice build and congrats on t100...question...why not use lucky hit on ring to proc freeze more often vs HP...since you dont get hit anyways...hp seems like a wasted stat
I use the hp to avoid being killed in 2 hits on t100 when mobs do hit me. Lucky hit would be a great stat to use though when I'm not worried about dying. I used to run a lucky hit build with the arrow storms aspect.

congrats man! waiting for your full build with paragons and bis on it. i started a new rogue recenlty (first rogue im playing) its hard to decide what to play but this looks fun. how would you rate the leveling process from 60 to 100 with this build? in terms of speed and fun. cant really compare to a tier 100 so thats why im asking
Thanks! I actually levelled with this build as soon as I saw the frostburn gloves drop, although I also used pen shot at the time. It was solid levelling, could burst mobs quickly but a bit less consistent damage the other builds. I personally have fun with it that's why I've stuck with this build. It's not that important, I would actually rather have vulnerable damage instead of imbued crit. I was going to try to reroll the stat on one of those rings to vulnerable once I get more extra gold.

@@mcvc69 frostburn isn't required, there are other options that could work as well. I like the frostburn to provide a freeze while cold imbue is on cd, but other gloves could work fine. There's at least 3 glove aspects which I believe could also work, it would be down to personal preference and playstyle.

Only thing is I hate using range with mouse n keyboard when farming regular mobs. But when trying to do the very top it’s required

Yes the build is great in pvp, I would do a few changes for it such as the aspect that makes you drop a smoke grenade and dodge the next few attacks. Ranged mobs cause issues if there are large packs of them, I try to focus on sigils when pushing that don't have packs of ranged mobs.
Did you ever encounter the bug where after building combo points and firing off a rapid fire and moving/evading right after it would randomly trigger you to fire rapid fire again?
Hmm, I haven't seen that particular bug, the game seems to do things like that when I'm cc'd, maybe it's related to that. That would be annoying to deal with since it would spend your imbuements.

Saw you only have 1 point in each imbument . I maxed mine out was that a mistake ?
I use both basics to apply vulnerable. I use puncture up close since it's the best rogue generator, and I use forceful arrow when they are out of range to become vulnerable from puncture. For the imbuements, it is fine to max poison imbuement as it's damage scales very well with skillpoints, although only 1 point in cold imbue is best since it only increases the chill. I use the poison mostly for the damage reduction skill passive.

Yes I also run this for farm t50 and 60 and it's fast. Any elite will die in a freeze. A few things I would change though is shadowstep/dash instead of concealment, shadow imbue instead of poison imbue, and the close quarters combat key passive for more damage.

For farming it's better to do mid-tier nightmare dungeons quickly. It isn't efficient to do T100s for farming since they take much longer and don't give significant enough rewards for the effort spent. High tiers are mostly just for the challenge instead of farming.

Yes I have thought about using it, I felt as though I had enough chill and freezes already. I may experiment with it more in the future.

TB will never be able to do it. Game mechanics are so dumb u can’t build a strong enough TB build without getting 1 shot from everything. If you RNG dodge shit then maybe.. unlikely. Mind I killed Lilith in Torment.
how is frostburn good? arent you freezing with cold imbue?
The frostburn is to freeze targets when cold imbue is on cd. The build doesn't do much damage unless the targets are frozen. It also helps to have random freezes, for example in one fight the frostburn proc let me maneuver around a mob to kill a damage reduction elite behind it.

I use forceful arrow mostly to make the mobs vulnerable when I'm at a distance. I personally like it better than using pen shot but pen shot is great for aoe (I was planning to temporarily swap to pen shot for the room before phase 2 of the dungeon, but the artillery rune was enough).
@@klepter3865 Why not use the Exploit glyph which applies vulnerable and you can free up needing to apply vulnerable manually?
@@christophermball Exploit only gives you Vulnerable for 3 seconds with a 20 second cooldown per enemy. Even with it, you're still going to be applying Vulnerable manually.

Why sapphires over emeralds? Is the difference big?
The difference isn't big, I ran the sapphires as I felt crowd control had more uptime than vulnerable on the targets I was hitting, especially the ones where rapid fire ricochets to. Although I'm considering using emeralds again now that I use forceful arrow to make targets vulnerable from range.

Ya I might do more pvp with it at some point. I tried it for a bit and it would just kill players in one rapid fire once their unstoppables end.
Are items drops just as bad as in t50?
Welcome to ARPGs friend. There is always an optimum lvl to farm items, lvl100 is just for the challenge 👍🏻
Considering you are running forceful and rapid, wouldnt you consider a bow over crossbow? You are also almost always on distant enemy range
Vulnerable uptime is near 100% and crossbows hit way harder so the DPS will be higher even though the text says the same. Because a lot of things don't survive past the first "instance" of damage so the speed is irrelevant compared to one shotting.
I've considered it, I actually tried it for a while. The reason I'm using the crossbow is for more burst during the ice imbuement when they are frozen, as most of the damage from this build comes from burst instead of consistant quick hits.

Hi you think this build can do Lilith too?
It would be doable, but this build doesn't deal much damage to bosses outside of stagger. The fight would take a while but it could be done, just can't cheese the fight like twisting blades can so you'd have to learn her attacks.

Tried something similar with pen shot as opposed to rapid fire?
Yes I actually played with 2 core skills both pen shot and rapid fire for a long time. It worked well for farming and clearing up to the mid nightmare levels. Once I started pushing nightmare though I was using rapid fire much more often than pen shot because of it's damage potential, as the mobs started having a ton of health. Eventually I just dropped the pen shot skill to free up some skill points, but I sometimes switch to pen shot to farm.

how many EXP you can get in tier100NMD?
I'm not sure exactly, I've only attempted it once I was lvl 100.
Enemies only give you bonus exp for up to 3 levels above you.
So running dungeons above that is a waste of time as enemies are necessary more tanky.
Just make sure you always fight enemies exact 3 level above you for 25% extra exp (I can't tell if it's + or % based but my guess it's just +)
Is glyphe deminish stronger than the glyphe who boost ur marksman skill dam and why
I like the diminish glyph as it gives me a lot of defense. In addition to the damage reduction from vulnerable enemies, where it's slotted in the board it also boosts the rare node for damage reduction from slowed enemies. The ranger glyph is a solid option too, but I don't believe the 10% damage reduction works while using puncture, which I often use against close enemies.
@@klepter3865 also how are you applying slow to enemies for the damage reduction? I don't think chill counts as slow?
Rapid fire seems underwhelming to me, I tried it on a flurry build but maybe it’s my crossbow damage that’s lacking at 1800?
Are you using the aspect for 90% chance to ricochet? And it works well with combo points, not sure if your flurry build runs that.

@@davidb9323 I use 3 skill points into frigid finesse as well as the control glyph to boost the damage to frozen enemies. I haven't played many melee builds but perhaps you are used to the higher damage output on those. Rapid fire is the best option for ranged although its still weaker for damage than TB.
@@klepter3865 Ya I like the higher damage for mobs. I’m trying to find a strong ranged build for tier 25+ NM. Some of the mobs can still 1 shot me as a trap rogue if I dive them.
Is aspect of corruption not good?
I didn't use it because I already had enough chill from cold imbuement to freeze enemies. I feel like it's better for poison builds to increase the damage, but I'll have to do more testing with it.
Just hate the play style of 3 basics then rapid fire. Is there a pure Rapidfire build that can clear high tier NM dungeons?
he has 2 basics, Puncture for vulnerability, and I’m assuming Forceful Arrow for knocking them down for close range. And yes there is builds out there, but I’d recommend adding Pen Shot or Rain of Arrows to go with it for AOE.. I personally use Dash, Poison, Concealment, Rapid Fire, Heartseeker, and Pen Shot. I love it.
@@WAFFLES2381 I was talkin' about the combo points play style he's using (pressing basic skill 3 then use rapidfire). But it looks like your build doesn't do that if you don't use a basic skill. How far Tier in NM have you done?
@@jonathankaede1767 I do have a basic attack, Heartseeker. I love the 50% lucky hit chance it has, along with the ricochet arrow it has. I run combo points as well, however, I have the Condemnation ancestral unique dagger, my core skills do x% more damage when I spend 3 combo points. But also I have a 30% chance to generate 3 combo points. The highest I’ve done so far is t90. You will need at least one basic skill with certain mutators on a nm. One I had, when hit by a ranged attack, it burnt 15 energy each hit and close enemies received a 40% damage reduction from me.. facing off against spiders and ranged skeletons was not fun and I was glad I had a basic attack lol just make sure you have the exploit glyph that makes enemies vulnerable, a rapid fire ricochet aspect and you’ll be good to go!
@@jonathankaede1767 with rapid fire you kind of need the 3 points for the increased damage and the 8 arrows. 8 arrows + poison Imbuement = melting bosses and elites.
Also keeping everything vul at all times is not possible on Barb like it is every other class

I've only done a bit of pvp with this build but it's been great from what I've seen.
Sorry to ask but what is the point for doing lvl100 nightmare? The XP is clearly not worth it and you just gonna spend 2 hours completing the dungeon for what purpose? Just to show it off or if there is a special achievement or something?
There's an achievement for completing it. It's also for the challenge to test builds to see if it's possible to complete it.
Why play arpg's at all with that mentality?
You grind and push to get stronger to beat the highest content and then you repeat to make it faster and easier.
Repetition of unnecessary difficult content is what is the gameplay cycle of those games.

It's mostly for the challenge to test builds, also an achievement for it. Not worth the effort for farming though as the gear quality barely increases.

Range rogue wouldn't be possible for that then. TB might be what you're looking for, or Druid/barb.

Wow and they call this hack and slay but what i see is fear of little non elite groups. I now its a good hard work to do a lvl 100 nm Dungeon but i think Diablo 4 is no more a hack and slay as log u try to do higher Dungeons. I think this is an big issue and i hope idiots will fix this.
It's more of a ranged rogue issue, any fight even with a random skeleton on t100 is a fight to the death. Hopefully they'll buff us before season 1, although it does make the runs interesting and different since it's hard to be on these tiers as a ranged rogue.
