Welcome to my RC Channel. My name is Gorley. Most call me Gman! I am an RC nut who finds time to work a regular job in the meantime LOL. I have RAW uncut video footage on this channel. I like to share the whole experience from that day. Trials and errors are common. User errors more than likely though LOL. Most of my videos are from suburbs and parks around Pittsburgh, Pa. USA. Anybody local to the area would like to do a meet up. I'd be down for that. We have a small group here that when schedules allow we meet up and have some fun. All scales are welcome. More than likely you will see a lot of 5th scales. Gas and brushless. Hope You enjoy this hobby as much as I do!!

Amazing how much more power it has in comparison to say a Zenoah g320 engine. Next step is to lower the buggy down with softer springs. Maybe it will be more nimble. Please Like And Subscribe!

Time will tell. This spot is literally six minutes from my house. So places to go is not an issue. We definitely had fun. Maybe gimme your opinion on which gas boat is best for me.

@@SteelCityRC ... I have a Rovan SLT with the 45cc but it vibrates the carb loose so I was thinking about a Taylor engine . I really don't know if the SLT is the same as losi 5b for ordering engines for it.
@@goodboyringo9716 I am unfamiliar with Rovan rigs. From what I understand. It is Losi 5iveB compatible. So yes. Order for a Losi 5iveB. The only difference between truck and buggy is the pipe.

use a step drill bit
Yeah. There are multiple ways to do it. I had an air grinder, not step bit. Do it however works for you and the tools you have. Thanks for watching

Thank you! I love this truck, too! The drill starter. Unfortunately, I can not recommend buying from the website anymore. They seemingly went out of business and still taking orders. They are known for remote killswitches too. Killer RC is the name of the website. I think covid knocked his business out. Reading that no orders get fulfilled etc. Used to be a stand up guy. Hope that all makes sense. Appreciate you stopping by 👊 🤘
Wonder if this will fix mine. Mine also needs an input shaft seal though so it has two leaks!
When your pushing that. There is no play. Mine had like 1/16 to a 1/4 free spin before it grabs. What could be the issue? I have replaced all the meter diff gears and all new shafts and bearings. I have replaced nothing in the front and rear diff
I am not sure what you mean. These trucks can be so frustrating. This video is when I first got it. I had some serious problems with it. All I can say is make sure you get the proper version parts for it. Wish I was more help. If I could see what you mean, we could figure it out.

The body looks good . The unbreakable body I got off eBay quality is off. But you should throw a max5 on that 1100 kv .
Thanks! The body was difficult to cut. But turned out good. Max5 in here. Maybe if this Max6 dies.. It has been in here several years and still does great. Max5 is kinda big too. But maybe one day. Thanks for watching 👊 🤘

Heck yeah! Thanks! This engine is so worth the money. Especially if you get a longblock and run it awhile, then switch the piston and head over. Eight or nine years ago, I did that. Hello. I was in the same situation as you. I decided on the Jetpro because of availability and he has a reputation for good pipes. No regrets at all. Good power and sound. Overall I like the pipe. Appreciate you stopping by 👊 🤘
I was into tmaxx back in early 2000s. Raced them amd never had a emaxx. Now many years later these xmaxx came out. I have yhe cmaxx amd xrt both are ultimates. Getting ready to put big electronics in it as well. So much more fun.

@@SteelCityRC Here is a link as an example, it is best to buy several gear pairings. Since the transmission plates of MCD and Redcat are different, you have to try out what fits together. However, the quality of the gears is unsurpassed.
How did u get the tires to fit? I purchased them tires for mine n i can't get them on
What is up! I use DGI 1 inch wheel hex extenders for the MT. Then the wheels. The center hole needs drilled out to 3/4". I used a 3/4 inch step drill bit from Harbor Freight. Then they fit right on. Gotta change the hexes first on the truck. Stock MT is 23mm wheel hexes. Standard 5th scale is 24mm like the Proline Badlands are.
@@SteelCityRC I appreciate it just happened to have a video next after this one where he used a dremmel, I was thinking a press but whatever works. I do have the adapter pieces for hex from Redcat. I opened package n not trying to lose the $215 I paid for them. Ty much!
@@legit_187ttv6 the first set of these I used a die grinder on air. Then realized the step drill bit was faster. Either will work. I suggest getting the DGI 1 inch extenders. It will bring the wide stance back from taking the stock wheels off. It rolls over too easy without.

Where can I get the bearings for the diff plate ? I bought the same one but my old bearing don’t fit the new one they are too small
So you bought a new gear plate and the original bearings don't fit?
Yea they don’t fit , the original gear plate is hard plastic and the new one I got is the one you showing in the video , the wholes for the bearings are too big
@antoniomojica148 I bet the clutch bell shaft you have is shorter too. You can get a complete set of bearings for the Rampage MT from Fast Eddy website.

I've had that boat for three years , it's a great fun boat , I went and got the engine put to full mod by some company in Florida that do them , it is so fast and so fun , , I'm sure you will get into a new prop and adjustments on the back , plug the drain holes for sure , then there's the deal where the cabin runs out of air for the engine , I'm thinking about doing a vent on top , it's a hard one to flip so the hole is no big deal , but a hole in a boat !!?? I don't know , but I can't wait to see you run it , I'll bet you modify that engine , it makes a huge difference , you got yourself a great friend there , CONGRATS !! ENJOY ARE GIFT CALLED SUNDAY

I saw a guy with a bilge pump in his hull on YT. Not sure why and or how he did it. He didn't explain it. Nit much info on these. Guess I need to make a video series for them? @@SteelCityRC I can't emphasize how important it is to keep that cooler bolt on your shaft tight , and check it a lot , you can loose your shaft and your prop , lube , lube , lube , boats are a blast , I've been a 4-5 times a week water skier , always looking for glass water , Now I'm looking for glass water for my rc boats , since the cancer crap took all my gumption away,,,, I guess , it's a blast running them around my ski boat , the there's always retrievel boats , there fun to do also , unless your the guy who jumps in the river and gets it yourself 😂😂😂

What is up! I did some work for a friend on his Primal Grave Digger with a Taylor 71S in it. Got it up and going again. When he picked it up. He gave me this boat! I have seen them in Losi/Horizon approved local hobby shops. Pretty sure it's where he got this and a brushless version.
