- Welcome to Steel City RC channel. Today I am going over my latest RC project. The Losi 5iveB. I am very excited to take this kit project on. I do have some upgrades for it that I show in the video. My engine choice for this little buggy is the big bore Taylor RC 40 GT. I did spend a few extra bucks for a billet head and anodizing. Very happy with the results. Stay tuned for more build footage. I am very excited to get started. A lot of work ahead. But will be so worth it. This will be the very first kit I ever put together 😄. Had to mention you. You pushed me over the top when choosing an engine for this buggy. Gonna be so fun to drive.

Thanks Gizmo! Maaan I got a Fireteam and bent the front of the chassis downwards so far that it split the front diff case in half. First use at the skatepark. Flippin dumbass hey?

it's gonna come out good the stock diff will hold for a while honestly the only problem with the 5ive when it comes to big power like the 40 and 50 is the wheels but seeing you work I know it's gonna come out great

What is up brother! That is exactly how I find spots to go RC. Google maps on satellite mode. Some spots not as good as the seem from above. Probably 2 out of 10 pan out. But the 2 or 3 that do are awesome.

I went with the OBR 6329 Signature Series, but this makes that look like a rovan 26cc!
Yo what's up man! That OBR engine is a beast! I had it in a mtxl and it ripped. Has to push your buggy even better. I just barely got this buggy on the ground. Had some fun with it. Check it out. Thanks for watching 👊🤘
@@SteelCityRC I just started building my 5B. Bought it almost a year ago from DDM and am glad I did. Allegedly they're discontinued. I'm super pumped. I've got a bunch of upgrades for it too. What hop ups do you recommend?
@@skycorrigan6511 I would say if you are using stock diff housings. Get the MOD diff bearing inserts. Much bigger bearings. I went a little overboard on some things. I may put aluminum diff housings in there if these ones grenade.

Hey Man! Can you do a 45cc rovan engine that bolts on to the rampage mt? I know it's $300 bucks on ebay, but it would be nice.
What's up man. Yeah the Rovan 45 will work on a Rampage MT. I seen a couple guys use it. I personally have not used it in the MT though.
