What. Size scope mounts do you need to mount it?

If arken wasn't direct sales the dealers like you would inflate the price to $1500-$2000+ dont get mad when a company set out to address this problem in the optics world. For too long customers have been ripped off by dealers more interested in profit than providing good products at reasonable prices. $2000-$4000 for a scope is not reasonable to the consumer when it costs little to nothing to manufacture.

"Why would i do that"... Because you sell products with high margins. You lose money when a company sells a better product with a lower price and you cant get ahold of them to inflate the price due to demand. Arken's Razor 🤣

I ran mine with 6.5 cm aguila 140bthp, just as a test, and it DID tighten up the groups, I have only shot 5 settings thus far. I shot them in 2 click increments, saw it get better, still not done desting it with the same ammo. My testing shows improvements. Your mileage may vary.

I appreciate the video and feel you are spot on. It’s pure applied physics. In fact, back when I started reloading, there was an old DOS application called PCB and it generated all kinds of useful data and recoil was one of them. It asked for only 3 items of input….bullet weight, muzzle velocity and weight of gun. Keep up the great work.

Arken wins with cosmetics and athlon midas tac win ls functionality. I can't see shit through my EP 5 PAST 18 power. And at 100yrds I can't even make out writing like I can with the midas tac. The ep 5 is an ok scope for the money. Spend a little more and get a way better scope in my opinion. Right now the midas tac is pretty close to the same price as the EP 5.

Pretty sure a 50 BMG with a similar muzzle velocity for 647gn bullet (3,044 fps approx) feels like a mule than a 6mm Creedmoor with similar muzzle velocity 🤷‍♂️ Felt recoil is not directly related to muzzle velocity

Give us a video of each of those scopes showing bullet trace. We get that the image won't transfer perfectly, but we can at least then be able to get an apples-to-apples comparison.

I have both, models being reviewed. I like both but Arken is definitely better. I bought Arken after a long range shooting class. The cross hairs on the Black Hound were to thick to accurately range with. The instructor recommended Arken so that's what I went with.

The Athlon neos which is athlons lowest costing is better than any of those others in clarity hands down. Have 3 Athlon and they are phenomenal

It’s impossible to make a $500 scope preform like a $2000+ scope. I feel like what people are saying about this scope is that it preforms extremely well for its price point. Look people buy what you can afford.

That barrel is better than the shooter can manage.....it will shoot ragged hole all day long

I think the only fair way to do this as a comparision on rifles is to find out what each rifle likes to shoot, then shoot the most accurate rounds for that particular rifle, then put them head to head?

After seeing this video Im starting to feel a little better about my barrel order from X-Caliber barrels.. First time dealing with them.. Mine is just an AR15 204Ruger barrel though, hope it shoots like yours...

I have a savage model 12 FTR I’m getting into F class FTR with. It makes me hopeful to see and hear what you say about the savage model. I haven’t shot mine yet but I need 1/4 MOA at 100y and won’t be happy with anything else.

I’m new to FTR going in with a savage model 12. I wanted to know with regards to barrel shape if most FTR shooters use a heavy varmint or bull barrel and lighten up on everything else?

Ive had a Vortex Golden Eagle, a Nightforce, Im currently using a Delta Stryker 5-50x56 on one rifle and a Zeiss S5 on the other. I sure like your new Bipod. Im shooting the Berger Juggernaut 185 in one rifle and the Berger 200gr 20X in the other. You have a nice setup.

I just sent back a viper because it’s a POS in every way. I did buy another vortex but it’s the strike eagle and I have one on another gun I own. Also I did buy a Arken ep5 and I also sent it back because the set screws on the zero stop keep backing off and I’m NOT A DIAL TWISTER. I replaced it with leupold and spent about 1500 more but you get what you pay for PERIOD

I don't share your thoughts. I have also shot a lot of different scopes. And your video doesn't provide any proof of what you are saying. Why didn't you at least show some actual tests. I love them. Next time show some actual tests providing proof. Talk is cheap.
