Thank you for posting FTR videos. I’m new to the sport. I’m getting in with a savage model 12 FTR. I know my rifle is not the best but I definitely dropped a lot of money on precision, reload equipment and scales, etc. for what I heard you say 1 inch group is what I need at 300 y to be competitive, what recommendations do you have?

what bipod is that? it looks like a teir 1. I had one for a while and I had to get rid of it because it had way too much flex. I had vertical stringing. went to my joypod and they vanished, ditto for working with a friends phoenix on my rifle. I disagree with your take on tuners mostly but do agree some people think they can be used to do too much. I have a 6 br that shoots lights out at 300-600 and I tuned it the "old fashioned" way. I find it helps me more easily center up and stay in tune with large displacement cartridges. I also do agree that having extra variables are bad, so the only tuners I use can be locked down so they don't move during use. Also 100% agree on your choice of scopes, I've looked through and or used Nightforce/Trijicon/Sightron/leupold/burris/March/Vortex and my March is the best of the lot for my eyes. all in all a great video, I'll be interested to see what kind of 20 shot scores you can produce with it when you're done with your process.

what bipod is that? Teir 1
I have not seen the issue with vertical stringing.
Yea, Tuners are a matter of opinion, if you like them great, most people overuse them!!
      Thank you for the comment.
I do enjoy my March and it has been a FANTASTIC scope thus far!! Thanks for watching!!

Do you have a picture of the 6xc rifle in the grey camo? I’m trying to get a cerekote done in the same color

Got a question for u, let say ur shoot out to a mile all ur target before the mile are setting 2 feet off the ground and ur elevation call are deep on but ur target at a mile is 15ft off the ground. How much of effect is that target be off the ground by 15ft going to effect ur elevation adjustment call?

if your dope is good, you adjust the radical (the aim point) and you should be on target. Bullet drop is bullet drop no matter the height. Now if you are higher than your target or you are aiming uphill than the dope is different. The environment will have more effect on the bullet than straight up range. Wind at the shooter position is not the wind at the target!! Learn to read the wind and your surroundings and then shooting becomes next level!! Have a good one..
