G'day guys, in this video we manage to finagle another nice mangrove jack and a big tarpon. We have recently started getting back into a bit of fishing and trying a few different strategies. It has been hard to catch different species of fish that are worthy of making a video of. We have both wanted to catch a Tarpon for quite some time but they have proven really elusive, more so then the famous SE QLD Mangove Jack!

It’s a custom made alloy base similar to the high rise shaker bases they sell in Aus on eBay but way better made

Hi , I have bought my first Cleveland and I have some questions. It is a 351 from a 1986 Bronco, at top dead the pistons are 0. 35 thou below deck height is this normal? Also it has open chamber 2V heads what compression would it have? thanks Bob
Yes it is common to find the pistons down about .30 from top dead. Compression would be 8.9:1 stock mate but pays to check some are really down on comp and still run quite well
Hey fellas, great content !! Question for you gurus … I have a stock 302 Cleveland in my 76 F100 and the new replacement mechanical fuel pump seems to be leaking oil. The original unit was leaking as well, hence the replacement. Is this a common fault ? Cheers Azza
We got caught on a few Carter pumps last year brand new from eBay, they forgot to put the rubber diaphragm in to keep the oil in and it just leaks out the tell tale immediately. You can block the tell tale up with a screw and some silicone or araldite, and it will work fine or replace it with a new one. They were only cheap but caused us a few headaches doing mobile stuff.
